The name Mona:
When I was about 17 or so I knew a guy that just got back from VietNam
He spent most of his time in VietNam in Cambodia but thats another story
After returning stateside and moving in next door to me (I had my own house at 17)
We became friends.
His mates still serving were able somehow to get fresh herb back to the states
and my neighbor was involved and able to get quality bud like my 17yo ass has never seen.
The best smoke I ever had a hold of was from this guy.
Now back in the "war" they would usually get smoke from the girls that would take care of their living quarters.
They would hire these girls for various services one of which included scoring good smoke.
They would "nickname" the smoke after which girl had brought it, and the one I got a hold of was from Mona.
It still is my highest moment, while smoking Mona one day. It is the only pot that has caused me to truly trip.
Figured it may not turn out as good as the pot I had from that old friend, but a homage none the less.

  1. Emily's Main Stem (Emily was No2)
  2. Emily measuring in at 18"
  3. No5 height (2nd tallest)
  4. Some shit growing out of the top of No4
  5. Formerly No5 - Now Mona

  8. additional new shit growing out of No6
Heh well as you can see someone turned up the grow new shit level
lots of oddly pretty things are starting to form now on all the girls.
Renamed No5 as Mona
No 7 and 4 still have no girl names yet.
about 6 or so inches height on the taller plants
shortest (Sandi) still is staying short with very compact nodes
arranged plants so that Sandi will get good light
without letting Emily or Mona get too close, and its working well so far
pulling Emily back from light with paper clip hook also exposed lower growth well [img 1]
added a CFL (45w -150W equivalent) to dark spot behind Emily and shining well into
undergrowth on No4. It is timed on the light timer to go on and off with main light
Images of No 4 and No 7 soon, along with their girl names lol

OK here are the first clues for the "help me guess this strain" thing.
I will document as much more as I can now that the plants are becoming more and more different from eachother.
The first clues are in the leaves.
leaf types and number of arms on a leaf could help solve this mystery
Here is an image from this morning after removing 4 leaves that were blocking future bud sites.
I trim very little, but trying to allow undergrowth a fair shot at the light.
I know No7 is Grenadine.
but here are the clues for Emily and Sandi and Mona (No5)

missed your constant support, hope everything went well with your emergency.
Have to go check your thread to see your progress but above first two images are your girl No2 the problem child.
Looks like you pullin' for her worked out OK.
Her name is Emily now, in fact I named all but two so far and only waiting on some inspiration.:weed:

Heh I know how to grow plants, this is a first time out for herb tho' so I don't know that much.
Only what I learned here at RIU
It is amazing how they grow so fast at this stage eh?
I am actually looking forward to next grow at this point
I will be growing all the same strain this next time and so It may be easier to manage.
Right now they are all different heights and stuff so I have to keep on my toes re-arranging and moving the light etc.

Yes, ur telling me, its hard enuff for people with CAREERS!!$ To get that much money, let alone for someone like me with a bullshit job1% ARG lol. But i got it taken care of for now, i'm just putting myself further into debt to hopefully get rid of this problem, then I can work my way outta that debt slowly :( Anyone hiring?! lol
