I actually think they did, some just waited a couple generations.
I knew a guy from work into that. There were a couple of ministers involved, so he said.
The minister I had growing up was a published author and perhaps the best speaker I ever heard through age 12. Then he got caught fucking a half dozen different women in the congregation (that I know of), 3 of them within weeks of doing their husband's funeral services. His wife wound up in a mental home, his son hanged himself and his daughter has been in therapy for 40 years.
That minister wound up selling heating oil, he actually had his collar removed by the higher ups. Lol.
Religion blows. It's based on a farce that you can live forever. Don't count in it.
