Another shooting in a Maryland Mall

I recall you stating that if he were to question your sexuality, then you would hit him.
I don't remember that statement specifically, but it does sound like me.
Like I said before, I would never mouth off and question another mans sexuality without expecting a physical confrontation.
There's just no excuse for it, and anyone that would say something like that, is surly lacking control, wouldn't you agree?

I think you're talking about UncleBuck here, kpmarine.
I actually do pretty well these days controlling my emotions, however, you'd never catch me calling another man a fucking racist or a loser to his face without expecting a mouth full of fist, that my friend, is grown man who does NOT have control over his emotions.
why would you hit me for asking a simple question about racist statements you have made before?

you called chesus a "nigga" because you didn't like his spending habits. would you hit me for asking why you would say such racist things?

you have the emotional control of a fucking horse.

That right there is the problem. A man should be secure and has no need lash out physically over trivial shit like that. You should be fully capable of returning in kind (verbally). I would say that trying to cause offense to someone is lacking in control. I would even say that a verbal response would likely be appropriate. However, you just used the "He said a mean thing" defense to justify physical violence. Consider who has less control: The man who asks if you have some repressed homosexuality issues; or the man who escalates to physical violence because his feelings were hurt? You must not think very highly of free speech if you think violence is an appropriate reaction to someone speaking freely.

Bro, I don't need you or anyone else telling me what a man should act like, who says you made the rules?
Personally, I don't think a real man should verbally antagonize another and cry foul when things escalate.
I also believe guys like UB and perhaps you, hide behind the guise of civility because you can't psychically back up your mouth.
How convenient, we can mouth off all we want, but don't you dare get physical with me, because it's not civil.

Why don't guys like you and UB, act like men and control your emotions, if you would talk and debate like gentlemen, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

how is it verbal antagonization if i ask you why you called chesus a racial slur for black?
Because you'd bring up some shit like wanting to rape his wife. I'd personally tape record you and you'll pray to Moses someone pulls me off from choking you.

I think if someone calling you a mean name is reason enough for you to hit them, then you don't really like free speech. Don't like what someone has to say? You have the option to ignore it. I've been in more than a few fights at this point in my life. And I can honestly say that if you remove the ones that fall under "military rivalry", then the rest have all been legitimate acts of self defense or defense of another. People have said some downright hurtful things to me, and I've never seen fit to hit them for it. Hitting someone that's trying to piss you of is just giving them control.

Then I must be a control freak, I don't dish it out but I don' turn the other cheek.

No it's not giving them control. I only attack if I know one of us could die. People need to respect each other. Don't say anything you can't back up. Just like you wouldn't go to a Black Panther meeting saying what Paula Dean said didn't deserve her getting fired. Or to a skinhead rally saying wearing pants around your ankles is cool. Unless you have a death wish, sometimes you need to keep your mouth shut.

the problem isn't the guns. The rate of shootings since the early 1900's hasn't changed much. The thing is back in the day they didn't really cover the shootings in the media so nobody heard about it. Only recently the media has started shouting out all shootings. They do this because they want to strip our right to bear arms.
Smart fucking man! Jesus how is it that the masses can't see this?

I just talked to her again, she is calm now. She had recently been talking to me about purchasing a hand gun, I explained the pros and cons. I asked her just now if she had had a weapon if there was anything she thought she could have done. She said NO, absolutely not, she said she ddidn't even know who was shooting at first, She heard noises but they were doing construction in the area and thought it was just boards being dropped, by the time she peeked out it was over. she said that she was a floor above them and it was all too confusing for her to have done something even if she had thought that was a better alternative.
If she get's a gun or not wont change what happened... She MIGHT feel safe but what is the use? Shooting happen all the time. It's just the media is reporting it more and more to remove our 2'nd amendment right. If guns were illegal, people will still get them except ILLEGALLY. If anything, people need MORE guns. The more there are the less "attractive" the idea of owning one is. My father has a fuck load of hand guns, shot guns, rifles but he is a hunter. As a kid I had this HUGE fascination of getting a gun. Now, meh, I don't even think about guns except how cops have them and how they are KILLING civilians daily with NO fucking repercussions. This is the world we live in. Bunch of narcissistic in power with no fucking clue about reverse psychology.
I was at a LGBT parade when I was young and a shooting happened. All hell broke loose and a swarm of people ran off the docks towards me. Literally pushing me 30+ feet. Was I scared? No, I know how to take care of myself. If anything I wanted to go see wtf was going on. First thing I did was approach a cop and tell them I think there was a shooting that happened on the dock. I guess i've experienced fucked up shit in my life these things don't affect me. Fear tactics and shit are NOTHING to me. But yeah, sucks for her but this is the world we live in... Just have to deal with it. Rat race till earth dies man.

but wait a minute, TX also has to combat the boarder with Mexico and their bloodbath in progress. Besides, I feel the Waco thing was not the fault of the Davidians (or w/e).. They did not prove to hurt anyone, no warrant should have been issued, same thing with Ruby Ridge and the Gov..

Would anyone rather TX turn into Mexico with the highest Murder-Per-Capita in the world AND guns are illegal in Mexico..

??
Not to mention the ATF gave the cartels guns to "track" them yet lost the ability to do so. God our government is funny isn't it?

AND... Americans need to share a boarder with them.. Would you rather the bad guys have the guns and the good guys not? The TX and AZ numbers are distorted, as well as any number by crazy kids... Think about the impact of the people in AZ and TX if they could not protect themselves from encroaching and violent gangs in Mexico...

Look at the bigger picture and stop thinking about the random, crazy kid..
Sadly people can't see the bigger picture. They are trained NOT too. Put's the %1 in control still. Sad actuality man.

Do you worry about her when she's on the road?

Would you have this reaction had she witnessed this event:
Indiana highway reopens after massive pileup kills 3, injures 22

http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2014/01/24/22420689-indiana-highway-reopens-after-massive-pileup-kills-3-injures-22?lite

If not, why?

3 slain and 22 injured, and yet people don't even bat an eye and simply say "...accidents happen. So sad."

Why is it "acceptable" when citizens "murder and maim" people on the highways with a Honda, Ford, or Peterbilt, and yet it's an "outrage" when some jackass does the same thing with a Smith&Wesson?

Why isn't it a "political issue" when death and mayhem is mentioned concerning our vehicles and roads?

Why don't people call for vehicle bans or more restrictive licensing requirements?

Why?

BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE FUCKING MORONS, that's why.

Nobody deserves to be gunned down by a madman on a rampage. However, nobody deserves to be run down by an idiot/madman driving a g'damn car either.

I'll take my chances though, because I enjoy firearms, and I enjoy the freedom of mobility vehicles provide as well.
Most people won't care about a issue unless it DIRECTLY affect's them.
