Transplanted to larger pots. PITA, not my favorite part but got it done fairly quick. Clean up sucks also. I was able to get rid of the Roots Organic Soil 1/2 Bag from 2 grows ago that I used when they were out of Happy Frog. Never again. I also mixed my remainder half a bag of perelite - also never again. I have learned that Happy Frog on its own is the easiest, best way to roll...

Also, more on the odor. When I picked up the M39 to transplant I was blown away by the skunk odor. Mass Super Skunk also, and of course, the Top Dollar. Excited to see what happens.. maybe a few weeks on 24 and then flip...

The plants are really putting out the flowers. Top Dollar, to the far left, has the thickest, most abundant flowers - its really showing why it has that name.

M39, unfortunately, hermed on me big time so I had to chop it. The trainwreck shows real vigor, second from back right, although the flowers are taking longer to fill in. The back far right is the Jamaican Blue Mountain Lamb's Bread and it growing above the lights. Because it requires another month to ripen, after the other plants are chopped I will bend her over to get light from both lights.

Kryptonite, front left, and Mass Super Skunk behind it to the right are looking great and stink like hell. Mass Super Skunk is the frostiest so far. Jean Guy and The Church, front right are a little smaller.

Not bad for Day 28. Will post more as they mature..

So due to the fact that I rarely smoke... I hooked up with my old neighbor who is a daily smoker....

Rolled up a few grams of each kind I've grown since last year, in plastic sandwich bags with printed labels.... 15 baggies all together. Should have taken a picture..

He was real happy

I will be gifting him with 7 more strains from what I have coming. I wanted to do a smoke report, and so this will have to suffice..

Will update as I get his opinions..

20230809_192729 TW Tied Up 03.jpg

Trainwreck, the beast, branches tied up, just like they should - for those that don't know - TW has very thin stems, including the main stem. Small calyxes with a real pastel color to them. Just like I remember buying back in 2004ish. I certainly wont be smoking this one but I have help now trying out my stuff...
20230809_201659 - Top Dollar 01.jpg20230809_202134- Top Dollar 04.jpg20230809_202159- Top Dollar 05.jpg20230809_2017443.jpg

The rest are of Top Dollar. Serious main cola, perhaps the biggest I've grown yet in this set up.

Harvest still a few good weeks away...

Staying at a Hilton in NYC on some buissiness ish. A few month ago i put a sandwich baggie load of cured Euforia buds in my travel bag. Maybe its the baggie, its taken on this deep chocolate odor, old school like we used to get it. I broke some up and it smells even better.. pine and sweet skunk. I think Euforia is fhe best strain ive grown. It cures nicely, has great bag appeal, buds are tight and nicely shaped. We'll see - 2 weeks feom my final harvest!

Dutch Passion. Truly, the best, i think. Smoke reports from friends say my authentic resevoir seeds strawberry diesel from LA Seed Co is the best, but the bag appeal, smell, and overall old school vibe beats out anything ive grow so far..
Thanks man. I'm going to order some seeds who did you go through?

Funny you ask, i cant remember. DP wouldnt do US if i recall. They were def sent in breeders pack, white satchel. It was probably attitude. I would to through them. Pacific Seedbank has them, always been good to me, but theyre probably from a clone. Ide go attitude or somewhere that will sell them in the breeder pack just to be sure.

Kryptonite. Unique odor, been wanting to grow this for so long - came from Pacific Seedbank and is the real thing, I've seen the buds before...

Still have The Church and Jean Guy to go. Hopefully more light coverage will help them beef up. Maybe another week or so. And then the Jamaican Blue Mountain Lambsbread that looks like another 1-2 months.

The other four plants floored me, all in their own ways. Top Dollar had biggest yield, sweet, mildly skunky odor. Kryptonite is the real deal, from 2007 Oaksterdam Club. MSS, skunkiest frostiest plant I've grown, although small yield. Came from Spamonie/Copycat and seems legit to me. Arcata Trainwreck from Greenthumb, definetly legit. Going to cure these guys and now I have small group of people smoking and reporting on my stuff.

After this harvest I will be disappearing for a while... but will update on the final plants when I chop them! AM

Kryptonite turned purple. Looks and smells exactly like the cut I had in 2013, that my friend gave to me and came crying back to me, asking for it back.

A true cash cropper. Best of quality and yield. Yielded second best, along with Trainwreck. I can't explain the smell, grape, menthol, sugarfree something. It's one of a kind, I think my favorite of the harvest. Smell is on the subtle side but its wonderful.

Mass Super Skunk reeks like skunk and also turned purple. Top Dollar had true purple calyxes but they faded out after harvest. My flo plant turned purple on top, but so far these are the only 2 real purple leaf plants I've grown.

The Church was chopped last night, smells skunky and sweet. I can def smell the super skunk, like MSS.

Jean Guy has another week and then I can focus on the Jamaican BML, my first true sativa...

until then.....
