Recently, i've been having chronic anxiety attacks, they come and go usually within 1-2 minutes but the onset is always like a "awe fuck!" moment for me, its been getting very intrusive, from having them in class or even during sex, idk if its because its finals week or just because i've got a chronic disorder or something, anyone else get these often?
If it gets really bad try speaking to your doctor. They will know the best.

i think you need to look into your medication more

prozac can cause anxiety, drug dependency, suicide seritonin syndrome (which can kill you ) technically there is with drawl symptoms cause you have a drug dependency also im very aware anxiety is a chemical imbalance ive delt with it for 16 years of my life

prozac can cause worsening of anxiety and suicidal thoughts for SOME people. That is why some people try it and it doesnt work for them. And there are withdrawl symptoms? I had no idea, where did you find this out? Do you know what they are when you stop taking them?

this i would be very interested in as I was under the impression prozac does not cause withdrawl symptoms if you stop taking it.

For those for whom they work, the SSRIs are wonder drugs. Unfortunately I am not a "responder". cn

i have anxiety I RESEARCH FUCKING EVERYTHING LOL!!!!!!!!!!

i want to die laughing my chair dude i refuse to even take a fucking advil if i have a headache trust me im super anti drug but im also so anexity ridden i have to research and know everything about everything .

Well see you said that when you stopped taking it anxiety came back , (obviously) but it lead you to believe omfg i need to have my prozac that is technically a withdrawal symptom because youre DEPENDENT on it , now if youre fine with your drug dependency then theres no issue, if it works for you it does

as for it may cause suicidal thoughts and anxiety in some people sure, but if you drive a car long enough youll get into an accident someday. your body is constantly changing as you get older whos to say it wont cause anxiety just because youve used it for a long time, chances are it will cause anxiety one day do you remember when you were ever anxiety free? i do. i was a little kid and then BAM it happened and happened more and more and then i was stuck with this problem, so im just saying theres other options then drugs, prescription drugs are not safe, as much as anyone can tell me they are i know they arent
doctors prescribe drugs left and right these days doesnt mean its right i know its sucks cause a doctor is someone you should be able to trust

I used to have chrinic anxiety attacks. Ive been so bad that its been like having siezures. I tense up and dverything feels tight and im shaking. For about 2 months it got so bad i ended up in the er thinking it was something to do with my health. Now since ive realized how it really feels i can MOST of the time get through one quickly. If i get too high sometimes i get ling ones though. But even in the mornings i get to my car stressed and late and feeling one coming on, i stop, realize whats happening and choose to ignore any ill feeling associated with my anxiety iin 5 min or so it ckompletely goes away. Just be aware. Ignore the attack dobt get confused or scared when it happens.

I wouldnt call that a withdrawl symptom because it wasnt any worse than me before I was taking them. But okay, I hear what your saying about our body changing. Ill take your word for it since you say you have researched and read it(hopefully from a credible source). So what do you do for your anxiety? Oh and if you think Im coming off as a dick, Im really not. I like to debate. :) You know you sound a lot like me. So, what do you do/take to help eliminate your anxiety?

a doctor calls it a withdrawal symptom though :p cause its a dependency ;)

I take relora everyday its an all natural homeopathic (wont interact with anything) all natural health pills. if i have a serious anxiety attack comming on i take a Gaba 20 min chew tablet or i take the rescue remedy spray
I work out 5-7 days a week , for at least 30-45 minutes
Im also just starting but after xmas i'll be eating complete 100% natural foods and cutting out any caffeine, and unnecessary sugar (but thats not so much for anxiety as more so to just be a healthy person)

now you take both of those you say? do you know how long they last? They sound great for someone who has attacks...but what about someone such as myself that wouldnt be able to hold down food because the anxiety would stay with me through most of the day( morning-late afternoon) Nights were great for me, no anxiety, weird but true

so thats what you mean by technically...see to me a withdrawls means when your addicted to a drug and you stop taking it you will experiance symptoms that were brought on by the drugs use.

i couldnt hold food in either, i dont necessarily take took on a daily basis iuse relora but if im out of relora, and have to go to a concert or a bar where id be freaking out id take one of the fast acting reliefs
Im lucky my doctor suggested me to not use prescription meds and to talk to my local health and wellness store

Drug dependence means that a person needs a drug to function normally. Abruptly stopping the drug leads to withdrawal symptoms. Drug addiction is the compulsive use of a substance, despite its negative or dangerous effects.
A person may have a physical dependence on a substance without having an addiction. For example, certain blood pressure medications do not cause addiction but they can cause physical dependence. Other drugs, such as cocaine, cause addiction without leading to physical dependence.

i couldnt figure out how to put it so i used this its exactly what i mean

im from canada so its most likey different i pay about 15-20 for a bottle of GABA and abottle of Relora, so no id say thats not steep cause id pay 100 a month not to have anxiety, talk to your doctor obviously first cause youll need to be weened off of your drugs frist you cannot just abruptly stop them

so I am dependant on my prozac, because I depend on it to make me "right". but Im pretty sure that if I was having withdrawls, Than I would have bad effects coming from stopping the medication BECAUSE of the medication. Its like saying, Here I am before taking my vitamin b with weak hair and nails and here I am after taking vitamin b, it has fixed my hair and nail problem. But if I stop taking the vitamin b and the same old problems come back (bad hair/nails) that were not caused by the vitamin/drug do I call that withdrawls? NO! lol

answered im pm but for anyone interested its because youll feel helpless and youll feel the need to be on them, you cant just stop taking drugs like that you need to ween yourself off them while youre weening yourself off if you feel anxious try the spray it will stop the issues, but like i said talk to your doctor first eh? i dont need someone committing suicide cause of this

so sad youre stuck on drugs i know how it is my mother takes effexor and man if she goes off it she has ELECTRIC shocks up and down her body and in her brain ...

it is SUPER hard to try and be completely off drugs and do natural remedies but if you can try to do it i suggest you do
I get the same thing with zoloft starting, missing or after drinking. Not to mention a headache that just won't go away.
