I think the switchball fatty might even be cheaper than that plain wand. When I saw this I was like why didn’t they start there? It’s a fun piece. It’ll fill any volume bong I’d wager. I have a two stage medicali that works great but I know isn’t like whoa baby cool.
You actually want to hit the Elev8r fast and hard. It’s the only vape I’ve used that works like that. Usually you puff slow right. This is total opposite. I can’t compare it to the big dogs tho like Volcano and SSV.

Actually I totally know where you’re coming from. The bag thing never appealed to me either and haven’t ever tried one. I totally forgot about a lot of the crappy vape stuff out there too.

I think it’s coming around though. Barely but there are a few things that can get an old smoker that satisfaction. Dynavap with a good induction heater is excellent and very much like hitting an old school dugout. With a single flame torch it’s really nice too imo but the IH can even heat it so well it wins to me.

The Elev8r is just a bit fun. It will get anyone stoned for sure though. It is all glass path which was why I wanted it but pretty much so is the SSV I just haven’t had the chance to use one

You can dry vape it chillum style. You have to hold it but it also seals nice on a 18mm female bong joint or you can smoke out of it if you want. Pretty much the greatest chillum ever in my humble old school stoner opinion

OK. I couldn't help it. Just ordered a kit and the extra Merlin wand like you've got. It says spherical on the site but the pic is a conical one like you're got. So fingers crossed.

Before trying a volcano I too thought it would be like sucking a plastic bag, but somehow it isn't. The vapor in the bag isn't meant to last a long time. It's pretty much a large lungful. It's not great for sharing, but still the best vape for sharing that I know of. Vaping isn't good for sharing.

Try the vapexhale with a hydrotube. That thing is beast. It's very possible to finish a 0.2g bowl in one (long ass) draw. I can't do that with a bong without coughing my lungs out. There will never be the kind of a kick to a vape bowl like a bong bowl, but it definitely is every bit as powerful imo.

I smoked for over 20 years before I started trying to vape and yea it takes a LOT more finesse to get right but it’s every bit as strong. Then because your lungs aren’t fucked you can toke more. I’ve gone back to combust to check plenty of times. I don’t get as high smoking. I can’t. Way more side effect for nothing.

I only need water for my Elev8r tho. I like the DV dry and toke that all day.

You are totally right about the finesse to get it right. It takes a little bit of trial and error, but I enjoyed the process of finding the right vapes for me. I've never tried the Elev8r, it's on my "would like to try" list together with the SupremeV. In terms of power, butane vaporizers put most electronic ones to shame. Probably just the Volcano, the SSV and a few other desktops can match the vapour production of a butane vape.

If you have the chance, try some butane vapes. It takes a while to get used to vaping, but you won't regret it. Check out this article if you want, it tells how I switched from smoking to vaping. https://www.bongify.nl/en/how-to-quit-smoking-and-start-vaping-instead
Perhaps it can give you some inspiration on how to at least change some of the joints/bowls for vapes.

The Volcano Hybrid works without the bags. I think it's better than the classic. It has a whip and in some ways it's similar to the Airizer Extreme or the SSV. And it's easier to share.

So happy I could share this with you. Let us know what the outcome is! The final product won't taste great, but if you dab it on a quartz banger through water is not that bad and most of all, it will blow your socks off.

I don't mind the taste of weed at all. Other people will be like WTF, and I'm like WTF this is good.

I agree, although if you use AVB as a starting product, it won't taste as good as fresh bud. But, you can use the same recipe to extract from popcorn buds or trim, and get a much nicer tasting oil. What I do is dry sift trim and popcorn to make kief (then I press it into rosin) and then whatever is left from sifting I'll do QWETO. But if you don't have a press you can skip the sifting part and just do straight oil with even better returns.

Ya, I barely vape mine, so my ABV is tan, light green color. But ya, I totally agree that it goes from massive terps, to medium, then less. The first hit is more like crack, where later hits are more like heroin. Haven't done either, but that's my dumbass interpretation.

Ahah, yes, exactly. I really think you'll like the QWETO. I even enjoy the production process. Ah, sometimes I mix QWETO with hash (usually one part QWETO to 3 parts of dry sift - moroccan-style hash and man, it's amazing. Or, you could mix it with weed and do a turbocharged elev8r hit.

I need to get some ethanol based alcohol for certain things like rinsing. I just don’t drink at all and don’t want a reason to add that in. Not an issue for me I‘ve just never really liked it. Small tincture doses used infrequently might even have a health benefit though.

Same here, I drink only on rare occasions. Weed just outclasses alcohol IMO. I wouldn't even be able to drink pure ethanol...but you know, the fact that is considered "food grade" gives me some peace of mind for when I do my extractions and, as you say, tinctures.

Nice! It’s hard not to like if you’re into low tech stuff. I think the switchball can be used with the SSV, maybe? Which might be why it says conical. I’ve always wondered if some of their custom SSV wands would work with the Elev8r because they make some really awesome ones.
