Are these seeds ok to plant/ any good

Hi guys, a few weeks ago I got a bunch of seeds from a crappy bag of weed (for free so I'm not complaining) anyways I've planted a few seeds and tried several different methods with no success, I was just wondering these are in fact ready to be planted/ any good at all.. I'm new to all of this and have no idea what I'm doing tbh

Have you tried germinating them, or just buried them and watered? Try putting a few of them on a damp paper towel or napkin, fold it over them and put it in a ziploc bag, and put the bag somewhere fairly warm. In a few days, check them and see if the shells have cracked and a tap root emerged, if so then the seeds are good, and you can carefully and gently bury those sprouts in loose soil, water them lightly, and you should be good to go.

I tried germinating a few but I don't think I did it right.. And I buried some also with a potential seedling coming up but only one from about 5-7 seeds.
Ill try your method of germination though, should I keep the paper towel moist get the few days.. Or will it be ok?

Keep the paper towel moist till they sprout. Don't let it get dry.

if it's in a ziploc bag it wont get dry because there's nowhere for the water to go, you don't have to keep re-wetting it
