Assuming Romney will win the Nomination

So you want our system to be converted over to marxism or socialism?

Or do you have some sort of other ism you prefer?
fuck your isms. America has always had a MIXED economy, as does every sane and successful nation in the world.

That means we borrow elements of any economic system if it is the best option. If capitalism works for one aspect of our economy, then we use capitalism, where that fails, we use socialism or some other economic system.

So take your isms and shove them up your ass. I'll stick with a mixed economy.

You're being awfully defensive. I understood you to say you thought all drugs should be legal. Why don't you clarify that for us? Does it mean anyone can cook up meth and hand it out to school kids? If not, then what and where are the restrictions? And if there are restrictions, does that make it legal, or just less illegal?
Yes, I think he was suggesting we change things so that more people cook meth for kids. I'm so glad you are here to play upon my passions so that I can see this.

The President, Attorney General and all US Attorneys still have to abide by the law. The law in this case is caught up in partisan politics. Obama isn't Stalin bro, he doesn't lay down the law like that.
So speaking of obeying the law...which is supposed to be a higher authority the constitution which provides for limited powers or "laws" ? Where is the constitutional authorization for MJ to even be illegal? Obama and Romney are both prohibitionists. Neither believes in freedom, arguing the nuances of their power lust is fun and all, but they both think YOU should go to jail for self ownership.

Hmmm...is there ANY Presidential candidate that believes in liberty? Hmmmm.....

Radical crazy talk! A federal government of limited powers as defined in the constitution, that's just crazy talk!

Incorrect and completely 180 from the truth.

The south wanted slavery and the north was against it. In order to combat the idea, the congress said that slaves would only count as 3/5th's of a free person in terms of counting the number of representatives in congress. Thus the north was trying to force the south to free more slaves to get more of an influence in Washington.

if that were true, why didnt congress just count slaves as zero people

I am not sure, maybe it was a compromise... Something the Democrats have seemed to forgotten how to do.

The point is that it only counted for representation in congress and was a good thing for black people as obviously slaves could not vote anyway.

King Harry Reid is blocking over 30 jobs bills and a budget sent over from the Congress... I think they got that covered.

lol.

we've already seen that tax cuts for billionaires do not create jobs, so you can't call them jobs bills.

granted, some of their bills would create jobs in the "deciding if you were raped forcibly or not" sector. but not many.

Well, we have passed 1000 days without the Senate passing a budget.

How about getting that done? Naah, it would uncover glaring problems... Lets just do continuing resolutions until 2050....

I counter with the conservative bastion... Wikipedia....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-Fifths_Compromise

Delegates opposed to slavery generally wished to count only the free inhabitants of each state. Delegates supportive of slavery, on the other hand, generally wanted to count slaves in their actual numbers. Since slaves could not vote, slaveholders would thus have the benefit of increased representation in the House and the Electoral College. The final compromise of counting "all other persons" as only three-fifths of their actual numbers reduced the power of the slave states relative to the original southern proposals, but increased it over the northern position.

And here sir is where you are clearly full of shit....

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.
The paragraph referrs to free persons, indians and "other persons". Black persons are not mentioned... Why??? Because a free black man had equal standing in terms of representation in congress.

So, hopefully you have learned something and will not continue to throw up that old false strawman.

So how do I go about finding employment in this new sector?

call your local representative and ask them to support whatever tripe boehner's house puts out.

i don't mind boehner so much, but he is a really shitty leader. he is just horrible at his job. if he were half as good as nancy pelosi, i'd be furious with him. as of now, i am mildly amused by him. :hump:

You're confused, as usual. That was the Democrat's constitution. The Republicans amended that part out.
