Sup dude, I started my first grow in augast using bagseed from mexican brick weed(nasty shit) Anyways you did your LST pretty much same as I did. Good job on that cuz it works hella good. Im also growing in a very small space(22 gallon rubbermaid container) with only 107 watts 6900 lumins. My girls are doing real well, they are all 3 flowering about 3 weeks apart. The oldest is about 2-3 weeks from finishing, next one is about 6 the last is about 9-10 from finishing. I did my lst by tying the stem all the way around the pot using the diagram im posting. Some random pics of my girls in various stages in there life. Take care and good job on your grow.

To this accusation, I must say........... I did it back when they were seedlings. at a concentration of 1/2 cup/gallon it give them the nitrogen they needed without being too harsh. I still swear by it! There! I'll do it again! Yeah, I'd feed piss to my clones but I don't want to blow up my other grow box. LOL Sorry, I'm high as shit right now.
So this a super late post summing up the close of the 23rd day of flower after 14 days of 12/12 and 20 utterly magical days of veg. The buds are still in good shape and growth is back on track after watering. I am not sure if all steps of bud maturation are the same, but I think my next growth milestone is formation of trichomes? I have been keeping the temps relatively low lol more like the upper 80's but no higher. The bowl is filling in so I'll be pinning those wayward fan leaves back when the lights come on.
Sexologist, that is fantastic! Thanks for the pics, I really like watching what these plants can do with LST. I am not too adverse to growing a Sativa dom right now, that is clearly a sativa that you have there! I have bagseed I want to use if I can get a bigger setup. lol Those pics are really nice though! also I have that very same size and brand of fish emulsion fertilizer!
Macclad, anytime man. I ran a little experiment with it a while back. I germinated one seed and always kept it about 6 - 8 inches away from the nearest bulb. Three weeks later I had no choice but to put into flower with its impressive 3 leaf sets and diameter about 3 inches. HAHAHA 4 days in, it just turns yellow and says. "Fuck this!" lol It is a sad story but I remember that to chill me out everytime I find a bit of leaf burned after it touches the light before I can stop it. Closer is better.

good shit hackel, im almost out of my AI right now, i smoked it all.
Well I aill have some new pics out tomorrow. It has been a slow grow the past few days so I held off on the frequent updates. She is doing well and getting bigger ever so slowly. The buds are looking tantalizing and there will certainly be a before and after to exaggerate the increases. I think a 3 day stretch without pics will get the eyeballs hungry for a few pics. Well thanks for keeping up and I will be back on the grind tomorrow which means that my hellish schedule will be back meaning there will be more frequent updates for the next 3 weeks well. I think I am supposed to supplement a sugar with my water in the last few weeks. Whenever I do that, there will be a special little run of pics to show whether it works or not. lol
The new mother, I see very clearly now will have to go the way of her predecessor. I will make about 2 or 3 clones from her and send her into flower. She is getting really big now and I am guessing that she is going to stretch like crazy during 12/12. I have some new shoots that I intentionally stretched out to make sure the leaves don't get too crowded out.
I think I am estimating at least 2 ounces from Johnny, but it is really just wishful thinking... I have about 23 days left before it is about that time... It sucks so bad to have to study all during your vacation for a major test the day you get back to school.

So I took my NCLEX predictor test today and even though it took a full 2 1/2 hours to take I got the news that, based on my performance with all the testing, I will have a 99% chance to pass my NCLEX the first time I take it. Needless to say I am in a great mood and as such I have a few pics to show of Johnny's progress. Some is a bit unsettling and some is kind of worrisome, but overall the plant is doing rather well and I am still looking at bigger and better quality bud that I will have ever had before! Day 26 of flower after 20 Days of veg and 14 days of preflower 12/12. Does my growth look on track?
This pic set is of the buds... very nice close ups. They aren't the same bud, again, but they were both about the same size on both days they were taken. In the first one, you will notice that the pistils are brown on the tips. This is some heat damage that, since being photographed, has been resolved. You can catch a slight glimpse of the mysterious leaf damage along with some other site from a little further away, and the last is just a happy pic that will serve to remind me that, even though the main cola is, sadly, out of the curing jar, things are going to be just fine as I have quite a few colas that will gladly make up for it... Just think of what will happen to the size of that cola when the gaps fill in!
The next set is of the profiles. You will notice a great many of the stakes that I use in training are hanging outside the pot... This is to weigh down a stubborn fan leaf that was shading two buds that are in their infancy. I will show them when they get a bit bigger.
Finally I have a couple of chilling leaf pics. This I will need help on. There are rusty brown spots and brown streaks along the veins of some of my fan leaves. The leaves that are affected seem to be dying off. I noticed this only yesterday, but I would really appreciate some outside diagnosing. I doubt that it is heat related, because the temps have been in the low 80's for the past couple of days... here we go!
That last one is a repeat but it shows the damage just as good as any pic...

i agree man that plant is dope bro. freaking huge man, anyway man i gotta say i think u might have calcium deficiency or some shit. have you checked ur runoff ph lately? besides that only thing i know that can help is cal-mag stuff thats got calcium-magnesium only to help out. good luck hope this helps bro

Eyup ma man congrats on a great lst.Just a sugest but i as ad da simlr prob 3/4 yrs back put da girl unda da shower luke warm an flushed all da nutes out den let her sit drainin 4 bout arf hour put her back in da box 2 settle down.3 days latr mixed pot n phos in carbonated fizz water an she perkd up like a gud un.Da strain i woz groin back den woz super silver haze da leaves didnt recover but man did doz budz just luv it.

Wow! I totally forgot about calcium and magnesium! I think I will just have to do that next time I water! I think I will use epsom salts to some degree for that magnesium and I will figure something out for the calcium. I had checked on the plant and it seems that the problem is only affecting the same few leaves... it just looks REALLY bad. lol Sadly, I don't think that using Epsom salts is an organic measure, but I would rather have a living healthy plant than I would have soil that is teeming with micro life. I will have myself a little vermicompisting bin set up next to the grow area so that I can try to recycle some of the leftover soil and root fragments for next time as well as a good organic fertilizer for all my subsequent babies... Oh and as another future plan I think I may have to just take cuttings and flower the other Johnnie. She is getting way too big for her breeches and I would be lucky if I could keep her in the little side box that she is in. Just huge! I haven't focused on her much, so while there is some LST work, she is still kind of tall... I might even have to train her down just to get the damn beast out of the box!
No trichome formation as of yet, though. I am hoping that happens soon, though I am sure that will not happen for the next couple of weeks. If mine are even half as frosted as Cannabizness' buds were I will be making tinctures with all the yield with the exception of the 2 months' holding on bud that I will have to save and cure. I am prepared for the first few bowls to be quite harsh, but the tinc will be well worth it, I feel! I think 4 ounces will make me happy.
Yesterday, the plant barely could greet me for all the droopiness, so I watered and fertilized yesterday with about 3 quarts of aged tap water and fish emulsion at full strength. This is the first time I have used full strength on this particular plant. I will check in a while to see how she is doing with that even though I saw a bit of perking up just before I closed up for lights out.
Also, I have been clearing out the dying leaves... They are not just coming off in clumps, but I do feel the need to just pick off the dried ones and the ones that are obviously in the dying way. I take it as a positive sign that none of the leaves that I have pulled off are moist or wet or soggy.... My temps may get a little high without painstaking adjustments, but my humidity is good and low, especially good and low for the South!
Well, I kick yet another test's, ass and I have to prepare for clinicals and start up my afterschool ritual of Smoke 'n Study. I must confess, "If it wasn't for the weed, I would never have graduated from nursing school." Here I am, staring graduation in the face and examining my last scraps of regs before my home grown shows me some love.
Sorry for the ranting, doing well on those hard ass tests puts a little extra pep in my step... Good luck with your grows!

I'm glad to hear it! On Icurbyou's current grow he was forced to bend one of his plants over and the gains in just a few days were drastic!
I counted up the total number of colas that I have: 19
Now, two of those look like they are going to be downright piddly, but the other 17 are much better. In fact, my wreath has 12 really nice ones! Five more sit in the basin. If I had known they were there earlier they might have had a chance to get bigger.
The leaves have not gotten any more spots. I think I will use that epsom salt after all. Just a little can't hurt too much...

WOW, I just read through your journal, I am very impressed. I also thought about the pee thing, but wasn't sure about using it. I really don't know how much to add ect.
Your grow is looking great, Also great job on your LST. Looks like your gonna have some nice buds. I can't wait to see the ending result.

1 cup per 1 gallon of water is what you use. Dont use in hydro though as the soil breaks the urine down and makes it not stink...I cant say teh same about a hydro tank. It is a very good natural boost of nitrogen.
Your girls are looking gook hackel. I always crack up reading your posts cuz there so detailed lol. I got a better pic showing my lst...Skunky Girl my oldest plant had my fan fall on it and the fan (has no facegaurd for more air movement) completly destroyed all the buds except 2....thats 6 total buds
The last 2 on it are doing good though. The pic shows how I lst'd around my pot. The biggest bud..the one laying horizontal is the main cola...the main stem wraps around and thats the end of it. Also is a pic of how it looked b4 the accident=(. So many buds wasted GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR>Attachments
