The "springers" we called em were good, until we found out that upon lighting the cone the plastic would heat up and emit toxic fumes that you inhale as well as your hit, lol, so we stopped using em, been on the single chamber big bubbler since. :D

I doubt that it would be for the first time.
Brings back memories of a party that I found myself at in the early eighties (note the "OLD" part of my name). I was there with 3 mates who were like fish out of water - they were brain-dead stoners and looked the part sitting in a corner feeling paranoid. Why were they paranoid? Amongst the party goers, who were all bonging like buddas, were 4 cops, 2 solicitors, a doctor or two and a fucking magistrate - how we ended up at the party is anybodies guess.

At the time I worked for the Tax Office in an Auditor/Enforcer position and I fitted in with the crowd. I realised that although all coppers are bastards, some are stoners too - but that was back in the Jo Bjelke-Petersen "Police State" days when if a pig wasn't corrupt he was simply missing out.

I took pity on my mates and we loaded up on the free smoke and left.
 
Thanks for the replies guys, seems like i should get myself some H2O2!!!....chemist ok or best get it from a Hydro store? My local guy didnt have it, so ill look around, but before i do i better get the % right as i remember reading that a special grade is required or you fuck your plants which as you can imagine is a tad detramental :P

Ive been spending all arvo setting up things, now i just need to wait for sealants to cure so i can start attaching parts together!!!


@steve: i got a 4 port aqua one air pump 800L/hr with an air stone in each bucket and two in the res.....im thinking this is enough air? :P

If you follow this >>> link <<< and enter the city closest to where you live, you will be able to see when the daylight hours fall below 12 hours - that is around the time that your plants will start to flower. If they are in a shaded location, they may flower a little earlier.

You should be able to get it from a chemist, it's used to bleach hair amongst other things.
Used to be able to get it from supermarkets in the hair product aisle.
Definitely worth checking a chemist before paying hydro shop prices.
 
That would be awesome if they sell it at the chemist, im definitely going to check em out.
I was going to head up to a hydro store to purchase a bottle. If i go to a chemist and ask for hydrogen peroxide, will they know what i mean? ;);)
 
chemist H2O2 is only 3% though and apparently fucks up in a hydro setup.

APPARENTLY you need the 35% (food grade) as it is more stable and doesnt have all this other nasty crap in it....however this is just from what i have read.

You WILL get it at the chemist for sure as Grumpy said its used for hair dye and im sure if you looked right you could find it at woolies/coles/IGA/etc, however the [%] is the part you need to look out for.
 
ahh thats not good enough for me :cuss: the hydro store h202 is like 50% isn't it?
im just going to pick up a bottle from the hydro store, that's settled

35% is the highest i think :)

What hydro you use Masterhemp?.....my local doesnt have it, hyalite doesnt have it and discount hydro don't have it :(

I usually get my stuff from discount hydro as well, but for this h202 im going to a hydro store near me in epping to get some,
a member here got his h202 bottle from there so they should still have them

Your not gonna get it offline and if you did you'd be crazy dangerous chems cost a bunch to ship and will not be touched by aus post. If you haven't checked a chemist check some places that sell food grade cleaning products where I work we wash everything down with 35% H202 top sanitise it.

my bad im using oxy plus which 50% percent (not h202 lol) and u cant buy it at a chemist man u might be able to get another brand that is 50% but alot of stores took all but the 3% of shelfs cause it can be used in making bombs
u want the 50% oxy plus its speciffaclly for plants even the instructions on the bottle tell you how much per litre of water and how often and has less impurities than the 35% or 3% and you use alot less than the 35%
u more than likely wont be able to get it shipped as it is a s6 rated poison

@odlaw: Alot of things i have read said 35% is more than enough. But where did you get 50% from?

Damn thats aight!!! Ill look into it for sure as my DWC is SOOO close i can taste it!!!! IT would be ready now if it wasnt for my mate drilling the whoe to fucking big and then having to use sealant on the gromit which didnt take so leaked a little.

I also might need to use 13mm pipe to feed my plants as the 4mm is WAY to slow to fill the pot when im using 19mm as my drain to res.....that or ill just turn the taps on the drain down to slow the flow and allow the 4mm to catch up and equalize.
