hey guys , im thinking of growing in a dwc/aeroponic system in my greenhouse seeing as no one can see thru the greenhouse film.

2 questions tho , do u think my res temps would be way to high ? and secondly im trying to figure out how i can safely get a powerlead into my greenhouse without being noticed. can i bury the powerlead ?lol?

yeah just get some pvc conduit to feed your lead through and seal it up tight, as for keeping res temps down, lotsa tricks for that my friend, drop me a line ive got plenty of info!

Donno bout the res temps as im wondering the same for mine...im not sure how much a pump increases the temps?

As for powerlead, your better off running it in electrical congugate into a junction box then just plug into the junction. Bare cable under the ground will only lead to eventual grounding of the cable and will trip the earth leak.

how you feel bout a bar fridge in your greenhouse? easy to disguise and with a $20 kit from jaycar and a bit of electronics know-how you can have it sit at the perfect temperature's, just drill and seal a coupla holes for your lines and your done! doesnt cost much to run either as your only asking the fridge to maintain maybe 26 degrees? what i was gonna do before i decided against bubbleponics for my first grow and went hempy instead.
any idea what's going on in australia as far as leagallization?

u could make your res out of an old esky and put a bottle of frozen water in or just do the frozen bottle just wont last as long in a standard res
u may need to change the bottle once or twice a day but it will keep ya temps down

ive got two lovely female skunk #1 about 3.5 weeks old indoor growing in my dwc setup (first dwc grow) outdoors me and a mate have the pure 3 plants and 3 more skunk #1 all looking tip top your right an expensive hobby but the results are worth it

using my new digivapour as i type this.....i gotta say once you hit that sweet temp spot it is such a better smoke than through a bong or pipe. 365F for a "Digi Vapour" seems to be good. 369F if you want to get a lil more smoke in the mix, but its not as clean. Lungs hardly feel a thing but im fucked as atm lol.

Hey whats up guys, just learning to use my new toy, it's fucking hard taking photos with this bloody thing, it always comes out with a bright spot, any tips besides turning off the l.e.d light to get better pics?

Maybe pull back a bit and use software to enlarge it.

Or?? maybe stick a bit of tissue paper over the LED to kill the intensity.

If your greenhouse has a concrete floor and if your res is not in direct sunlight, it will maintain a constant temp, if you do not have a floor, dig a big enough hole for your res to sit in, anything below ground level if not in direct sunlight will maintain a constant temp.

with your top feed as well, you dont actually need a splitter for the feeder tubes, run a 8mm tube from pump past all your DWC tubs, at bunnings in irrigation area, find the 4mm spaghetti tubing, grab drip nozzles and cut your spaghetti tubes to length from the main to each tub, the splitter is just something else you need to maintain and clean so you get no blockages, at your local aquarium for like $2.00 each, buy some inline filters, put either side of pump.

Yeah tell me about it man, the spending never ends with this hobby.
I recently setup my first bubble bucket and bubble cloner which by the way kicks ass i got roots in 6 days.More spending.

I am using a pocket microscope that i got from ebay it's got 40x zoom, i can look at the trichs even closer then the one in the pic it's amazing stuff,
a jewelers loupe would be far better for taking photos of the trichs but i will make it work with this one

I know that I am going to produce Fem seeds, all I am waiting for is the pollen - never deliberately produced a male (or changed one from a female) before, so I don't know how long to go.

I'm definitely on track to produce seeds, and they will definitely be feminised. I expect it to take about 5 weeks from pollination before the seeds are mature and harvestable.

I've just taken measures to prevent accidental pollen dispersal, although I still think I am maybe a week from having the pollen - better to be safe than seeded.

I've just germinated a couple of Barneys L.S.D. seeds that will be cloned and scrogged using the hempy bucket method, as well as used for making more feminised seeds.

I was looking into those usb microscopes that plug into the computer like yours but i couldn't find any for mac there mostly for pc

I tried bunnings but all they had were 11.6L as the max, then anything largr was lidless
