Yes, hot and dry mid-summer, but I have had rot issues in past grows come April. So hoping I can get find something that will finish early to hopefully avoid any issuesI'm genuinely asking this but if you have a hot and dry summer is the chance of mold not pretty low?
True, last summer I lost a bit to botrytis (I think that's the one caused from caterpillar shit?) but was very late in the grow. Never had powdery mildew problemsThe rot in buds is slowed down, there's different 'mold'. The mold that destroys nugs is botrytis, diff from powdery mildew. Botrytis wants below 75deg(f).
Powdery mildew is caused by Podosphaera. Even in extreme dry hot settings PM will thrive, where the podosphaera is inhibited.
Hoping to get there next month. Went to every GP back in the Doohan daysJust commenting to say i was at Phillip Island when Casey won on his 21st Birthday. I was in front of the podium!

I'm a savage. I just pull em off with my fingers. Never had my issues. It's like a 50/50 mix with me...half have shells still when they pop. I find the membrane easy to remove as well, just grab it between two fingers and pull it off.Ended up taking the seed shells of with a knife, one looks abit funny hopefully the leaves end up opening, they look abit burnt from water droplets, sprayed the seeds under my light before bed to try loosen the shell.
Same...the photos I tried lndoors all got gifted as I only have 160-180cm tents and the strains I have tried have all took 6-8 weeks to hit maturity even if I flip at 4.That's why I grow autos
hopefully the leaves open up soon, pulled shell of one last night and the leaves still not sprout, pulled shell of other one just before, one looks like it sealed shut with with white crap hanging outI'm a savage. Everyone acts like these plants will explode at the slightest touch haha.
I love watching them pull their leaves out. I have a spinach here that's slowly working its way out of it's husk...hopefully the leaves open up soon, pulled shell of one last night and the leaves still not sprout, pulled shell of other one just before, one looks like it sealed shut with with white crap hanging out
