It doesn't hurt to let them dry out a bit at first,I water them in when I pot up then let them dry out till they almost start to droop before I water again and I let them dry out that much a couple of times to get the roots hunting for water.
Yeah that's kinda what I been doing, they just look real limp since I sprayed with neem and potassium silicate. Probably will the the silica out next time I reckon

The old Sensi Shiva Shanti had some Garlic smelling plants
Thats interesting because my old shiva shanti that i grew was all bubblegum even though on there site it says garlic.

And the other thing is one of these plants smells exactly like a sugartown express i grew from gage green which was like super sweet cotton candy/tutti fruity so maybe there isnt a huge gap between garlic and bubblegum in the terp department despite the seemingly huge difference in smells.

While im on it. I just got back in from watering the plants and the golden nuggets really seem like a crap shoot.

The indica pheno smells incredible like super sour skunk berries.
The tall freak pheno is the garlic bud.
There is a super sweet tutti fruity pheno.
There is freaky stinky one which i honestly dont know how to describe and another that really just isnt pushing out resin yet so i dont really know what it will smell like yet

The cali cannon is outdoing herself this run. She seems to smell a lot stronger this time round

I'm not shitting on autos to be honest...
In the last 6 months I've seen an 11 oz jumping jack dash and a 9 oz white Yoda one outside one under a 600hps...so yes I believe they can get big but if I was running a 600 I wouldn't be doing autos

Unless your using mismatched boards ( ie boards made by different manufacturers or from different batches etc) and are running them harder then the manufacturers max current rating you shouldn’t get thermal runaway. If you building a light with multiple boards (or strips) and plan on running them really hard (not recommend anyway) buy the boards or strips all together so they come from the same batch and bin.
Yeah honestly most drivers wont let you run over 200v thats why you see a lot of people split it up and run multiple smaller drivers
Yes and no. Constant voltage drivers allow the current to vary but require wiring in parallel, constant current drivers vary the voltage and aren’t wired in series. Constant current drivers definitely come in sizes where the voltage is greater than 200v (hlg-320h-c700 is one I was looking at for the 1ft bridgelux strips but didn’t like the idea of dieing, 400v ouch). Many people use smaller drivers simply because it’s cheaper to buy 2 smaller drivers than one big one, the smaller drivers also seem to be slightly more efficient.

Series = healthy for the leds
Parallel = healthy for people

All the led gardener strip build guides use parallel wireing for what that’s worth.

Aybody grown garlic bud before?

Im just getting my first sugar leaves rub on these golden nugget ladies and one of them reeks of garlic. Not what i was expecting for sure but a nice surprise nonetheless. It smells so much like garlic that my forst reaction was to think i had touched some garlic when i was doing the groceries earlier.
I retraced all my steps in my head and nope no garlic anywhere. Shit even lingers on your fingers like garlic.
SoMe of the Texas butter is garlic smelling, getting like weird rubbery gas garlic and bananas lol crazy mix

You would want the most powerful light you can get.
