Can anyone recommend a 3x3 or 4x4 grow tent and a small extraction fan for under $500? I'm using a 130w LED so I don't think there will be much heat to worry about - growing inside.

130w isn’t even close to enough light for a 3x3 or 4x4. You’d need 500w+.

as for cheap tents just go eBay, get something with metal not plastic corners and something like a 6 inch extraction fan. Don’t skimp too much on the fan as the cheap cheap ones suck ass and are noisy as fuck.

This is the LED I've ordered. Seems to be a good brand and it'll do 2x2 flowering stage - I'm only growing one plant and a few herbs and maybe a cherry tomato on the side.

Maybe use that light on half the tent to flower your first run save up for another one and chuck it in when you can.. 135w is fuck all.. if leds are too expensive look at hps could get a 600w setup for ~300$ from a good hydro store and with only 1 600w hps youre not gonna have alot of heat to worry about, infact probably the perfect amount of heat depending on where youre located. Even a 400w hps would be probably more suited to you

Am smashing these mite populations, only very rarely seeing nymphs now which could tell me that the generations are getting all F*d up (glass half full kinda guy don't shoot me down)

Have thrown out most in flower with the exception of one lone trooper who seems to be recovering. 2 weeks in flower, bud sites are just starting to form, my question is - is this too late for a good neem spray? And does it need complete top and bottom leaf coverage to be systemically effective?

I look up any forum on neem and some people say not at all during flower, and the other extreme is right up until two weeks before harvest if ya don't spray the buds.

Check the yield this bloke got with the same HLG 135W - northern lights autos in a 3x3. No special tricks or training, just took care of the basics.

yeah I know the light. You’d need 4 for a 4x4. You’ll be able to grow a single small plant ok under it but if your hoping the side light it gives off will be enough for other edible plants you’ll Be disappointed. Micro greens might work but Herbs and especially tomatoes still need sufficient light. A tomato plant would actually need almost the same amount of light as weed.

A) autos eww

b) I doubt that’s a single 135w. Seen people struggle to get that kind of canopy with a 550w (just ask jzs)

Yeah not bad at all was just suggesting hid because smaller start up cost and your obviously on a budget, and a 400w hps will deffinatly outperform a hlg 135w

If going beneficial bugs you normally hit heavy infestations with some kind of insecticide whether natural or chemical (chem has longer hold off for bug release). If it where me I’d hit them a few times over a week with eco oil and may be something else then release 1-3 different types of bugs every 1-2 week's over a 6-12 weeks period. Ie knock them down and let the bugs clean up.
Why not a horticultural soap, contact killer then if u don’t wanna use harsh chemicals?

And then preventative measures
