How would law enforcement stop them, I haven't given any real deatils of shipping addresses and short of sifting through all mail from Britain they would shit out of luck I know they are a little more careful with packages and letters from holland but to even consider cracking down on the sheer volume of mail from britain is rediculous especially when i get the package less than 2 days from them popping it in a post box.
Second I vegged 50 plants to 8-10 inches under flouro's (3 weeks old) just fine you could get them a little larger but fluoro's don't have the penetration so short of having lights on either side and the top they aren't really effective after week 3-4 however a month is still a huge advance on the growing season especially considering germ in early aug plant in early sept (don't switch to flower by mid sept when daylight hours are over 12) and they start to flower in late march early april thats 8 months of veg time which is more then enough to time to grow a monster. Have a look at Kangrativa's grows I became aquainted with him just this week he too grows in NSW and grows absolute F-ing monsters in 8 months.
lol relax mate, im in no way calling anyone out just raising a few concerns as i never ordered before so didnt no how it all works. As for the fluro yes you can get decent sized plants but the nodes will be so far apart as apposed to short lil fatties. I used CFL and they worked a treat but HPS smashed CFL with performance. I grew a 5' tall hermi under fluro and 3' tall hermi under HPS and the 3' yielded more in the end coz thier was more bang for your buck so to speak. Once again though this is only personal prefence and in no way saying its the be all or end all.
Not having a go mate, did kinda sound angry didn't I no harm meant.
HPS is always going to be superior but for $120 i got 7 dual fluoro battens and ~ 45000 lumens and they worked a treat for prepping my outdoor crop. Vegging under fluoros is about all they really excel at not so good for flower ( though I do have a CFL grow going)
Nodes are closer as you can keep the light so close and a small plant needs less lumens (1-10 inches) all my plants had nodes that were barely half a centremetre apart thats with ~50 plants under 10 6500k 4 foot 36w tubes. All the people I have encountered on the internet and various other forums had the same issue and you cannot simply raise fluoro's because of the loss of lumens.
haha na all good man everyone has thier own pref and opinions on things and for everyone who says method "a" works will have someone else who says method "b" is better. As for your setup. Im not 100% sure about the lumens and all (i know the more the better) but for around $140 you can grab a nice 600w HPS with ballast and all the other bells and whistles. Im somewhat tempted to run parra tests with same system using CFL from start to finish and at the same time grow another with MH and HPS but i just dont have the room, time, experience to do it very scientiffically.
Well if you managed to get ur nodes to be so short you seem to be doing something right as while they were seedlings yer they were slow to grow (in comparison to mates who grew same strain but under MH) but i managed to get small nodes too. However the second they reached half a foot or so the nodes became really spaced out.
Meh after this grow im HOPEFULLY going to grow DWC under MH and HPS. But i might leave it a few months so i can let me nerves settle. Toking up (i get very paranoid when baked) and doing this type of stuff plays on the nerves alot everytime i see choppers fly overhead =P

$140 for a 600w HPS where cheapest I could find is ~$300 mark with a ballast and reflector, and DWC is the bomb. The reason for Fluoro tubes is ease of concealment and the little heat they put off, as well as cheap and easy to get bulbs.

I MUST AGREE...I WOULD SO LOVE TO HAVE AN MH IN MY VEG ROOM...BUT AS IT IS,I HAVE 3 TWIN FIXTURE FLUOROS IN THE MINIMUM SPACE THEY COVER AND IT MAKES IT A LIL WARM IN THERE...GOOD WARM THO...NOT HOT
BUT IN SAYING THAT, THE TUBES ARE SO NOT HOT THAT I ACTUALLY HAVE THE TUBE MILLIMETRES AWAY FROM THE TOP OF THE PLANTS...

i got this one pretty bushy just using a single 23watt cfl all my lights were being used by the plants that are flowering, i guess genetics play a roll in how close the nodes stay aswell because one of my sativas flowering now the nodes are way more far apart then this one in the pic it just started branching out few days ago, did a little lst too

On a different note, in pharm the other day discussing weed and apparently a its only considered a chronic user if you have close to 20-30 cones a day!!!.....I donno bout you guys but after 5 good hits i would say im pretty much fused into the couch....even then getting to 5 cones is pretty hard for me lol.

Does anyone think the LED's on the fogger may effect root growth? I would cover them up but it looks cool.
I managed to throw together a good adaption for the 140mm orchid nets into the 10L 330mm base pots. I'm hoping to rotate 3 plants a fortnight in the nets instead of the 400mm top pots full of hydroton. Should eliminate a bit of messing around.

fuck rusty, you got outa the wrong side today, voting must sure piss u off, but i pretty much agree, with every thing,
especally the fishing licence stuff, i feel sorry for you guys in sydney, fishing's better here, on the west coast, we land monsters
on the floros, i use a 40what power glo, and the 40w aqua glo,(an aquarium, light) the two different light spectrums, combine in the twin battern holder, and hood, to give me better growth and requires less watering than a hps, which can cook a seedlin
after about 2 or3 weeks, they ready for business, and saved you a hunj on you next power bill

Bout to finish up the grow (white rhino) at 8 weeks and starting to flush them all now. Thing is different sources say flush for X days and everyone seems to change the value of X. In your opinion how long should i flush for? Also do i use plain water or molasses? Also seems how Heat is an enemy of our good friend THC is it better to water them less and turn my heater off so that the grow starts to get quite cool or should i leave the tempts up where they have been? Last thing is do you guys worry about a 24hour dark period before cut? Some sources say a 24hour period works GREAT on the whites?

wait for someone with more knowledge to confirm but they dont look too ready? Not very frosty and buds still small. To assist in when to harvest why not post the strain and how long you have had them in flowerupdate on my cannababies
Also as for hairs i have HEARD that hair colour isnt a good indication as a shit plant could be turning brown because its got a problem and not because its ready.
