hey guys, i have been doing a little bit more searching on this fact..as of right now, i am not calling anyone a cheater, i am simply running a fair contest. after this shit being brought up again and again via here and my pm inbox, re-looking at those pics, i find roots growing out of a container like this very odd, its not to say you did cheat cause if you did, i hope you would be smart enough to cut the god damn things off so no one would notice so it is very easily be that it did grow like this however, i have never seen it grow this way, i have also seen very large plants in solo cups that have never had t his problem, again not saying its not possible but this does strike me, a decade long grower, as odd....i am going to be re-investigating this situation just to figure out whats really going on here, and one way or another, i will. if you choose to leave this contest, that is up to you, i cannot stop you either way, i encourage no one to quit becasue they feel they are being bullied into it. people here are skeptic by nature and this sort of thing is....well...weird to say the least, roots grown ''up'' like that? definitley possible, roots like that with literal dirt on them like shown in the one pic....not possible as it would have never been removed from the dirt, the plant simply is not strong enough to do that. either way, i hope everyone is doing good and just so you ALL know now....I AM WATCHING...closely...and closer.
Just got back the other day from the NBHA National Championship. We won Runner Up Champion the week before and we "WON" this Championship a week later with the same dog! I was reading thru this thread to catch up and noticed this one and needed to respond. As you know, I had removed myself from the contest because several members here were calling me either a cheater or a liar. Well, I an neither and you would find me to be a very honest man if you knew me! I had offered to the members questioning me that I would document the entire harvest of my solo if all accusers would formally appologize to me and RIU. Well...not one of those members came forward, as they were most likely glad to see my auto leave. BTW...the roots are NOT dirty as specified and even if they were...so what! It is what it is. You should also take a momment and visit my thread and you will see more large colas that any grower would be proud of. In fact, I'm going to put some more up there tonight from my other tent. You accusers know nothing at all about what I use, how I mix, how I use it, how I apply light and dark at different stages, and (most of all) the special nutes I started using this year. I must have done something really good with my auto to get so much attention. Take a look at the ones that are not confined to solo cups! My thread is:

After reading your postings, it seems very important to you to that you win. You only want to document your harvest if you receive an apology? You are deliberating missing the point. It's not the HARVEST that needs documenting. It's how you got there. Big difference. And posting your thread that is not related to autos is a nice deflection.

Thou dost protest too much.

That's funny you pop in here and all of a sudden you are an expert on what people think. You cannot be farther from the truth. I actually dropped out of this contest twice, but several members asked me to stay in the first time I quit, so I did. If I wanted to stay in, then why did I quit? If you had taken the time to read all the posts, you would have realized that the attacks were getting worse with more and more things about my grow. It would make a huge difference if I show documented pictures for every step to show the entire plant in the cup with a bottom, sides, and no gimicks. In fact, the pictures I had posted were just a few of the many that I have documented throughout the entire grow! Would'nt you want an apology if you had experienced what I have here? Get reaL DUDE...

Apparently, unlike you, some dedicated growers document many things that others may not care to do or even think of doing. I have grow journals for every single grow I do indoors and outdoors. It start's with the colorings and markings on the bean and its size, how long to germinate, what method, etc. Weighing at every cycle of harvest will only benefit ones observations for change next time, if needed. BTW, the water came into play when all the dirt needed removal from the roots and then shaken into the air to remove most of the water and dirt. Perhaps I should just throw a bean in the dirt and give it a drink once a week and call it good? Have fun with your negative comments and I'll continue to grow trees!

also considering the first posts in your thread you do not even know if your buds are ready and that was in july shows me you are still learning and thats ok. everyone has to learn from somewhere. you should of asked us how to harvest the plant and stuff if you had any questions because all the growers on here have a method of drying but we all know what the final weight dried means. i didnt mean to be mean to yah i thought you knew these things. we all thought you where trying to get the best of us. you should just read the rules and ask questions if you didnt know what you where doing. if this is the case im truely sorry because i myself just thought you where trying to pull one over on us.

also everyone in this contest grows trees my friend.

yeah i see in your thread your telling people your colas are weighing 7.5 ounces but thats obviously just cut and wet and not dried out(to back up my previous statement). because by the picture no matter how sticky or dense your bud is theres no way the bud int he picture weighs 7.5 ounces dried out. many people say the same things on your update thread. so for future weight posting to stop alot of agruments you can post that weight but say its wet then post another weight in 6 or 7 days when it is crispy and gets put into jars and thats going to be your final weight usually.

Maybe you should go back and read alittle bit more b4 you go jumping down someones throat and throwing stuff around. Don't like being in the middle of all this shit myself. Just can't stand to see everyone nailing someone. I'm not saying he cheated, but if he did, he knows it. Besides, I myself after seeing his grows all year long really don't think he did. It would be in his best interestest to post that said update that contains each of the growth process just to settle any doubts now. However, if he withdrew, there really isn't any need. But me myself, I would want to show proof of it all just to put it in its place. Just my thoughts.

Its good to have documentation of all that. Helps single out those damn good phenos we all look for in growing. I know it sure helps me to document, and like you, I do every grow.. ;)

all good growers document things. and if he likes weighing the plant to see how much it weighed after he pulls it out of the media thats fine. i just dont think he realizes that is not the harvest weight somehow. hes not a trailblazer because he documents probably every grower on here documents. i have like 10 day planners i use documenting things i do every day and plants to figure out phenos and feeding programs and yields all that good stuff.

Yup.. Like said, its good 2 have a journal. Hell, I have grow journals running back 10+ years of strains I've ran, and also crossed. I sure wished I could locate my Dads grow journals though! That dude sure knew his shit! I was lucky enough to learn from him the few years I had with him. I have to say that that's 1 reason I like to grow. Its like he is still with me when I go into my grow rooms, may sound stupid, but its true. ;)

Lol anybody that grows in soil should know that roots will be air trimmed regardless. With those roots growing out of the solo cup like that it is impossible, if it wasn't, all of is growing in soil would be having roots running out our drain holes like dreadlocks. People suck

mrblu, as you already know...I withdrew from this contest due to the badgering I have received from a few folks here. There is really no need to worry about me anymore in relation to my solo grow's. All I will say in ending here is two things:

1. I do not like be called a cheater or liar and I'm sure you would not appreciate it if it were you when you know you did everything honestly.
2. I wish some of the judges, mod's, and ak would have stepped in here to close down the mean attitudes displayed.

Ak set this up as a fun and friendly contest, but that is not what it has meant to me. I do have detailed pictures of my solo grow's that no one has even seen! I wish you luck (mrblu) here and try and be possitive or nothing at all! Peace
:peace:

thanks for not answering any of the questions every post
I'm sorry if I did not answer all of your questions, if that is the case. If you would please take a minute and re-ask them, I will do my best on it. BTW, you say I have not answered "any" questions. Are you sure??? Look back! All this picking really needs to stop...especially you mrblu. I have tried to be nice to you even with your slander, but you continue on this venture. Just because you cannot grow like some of of, don't pull that "Obama" blame game shit here. Just shut up and move on dude!

lol whats obama got to do with anything. you seem to think harvest weights are weighing your plant in its entirety roots and all before it is dried and processed. why are you weighing like this and posting this weight on a forum? even in your forum your weights are not correct.
