Depending on your soil, even once a day is probably too much. The soil should dry out such that the whole pot feels much lighter. Your pots are a bit small so it may be tricky to try this without risking digging up your roots, but a usual test is to stick your finger below the topsoil and see if it's still moist - if it is then you don't need to water yet.
Another way to test is just to let it go without water until you start to see the leaves just start to wilt a little bit - figure out how many days have passed and then maybe subtract one to get your watering schedule. As the plant grows, mind you, it will drink up the water faster. If you find you need to water every day then it's probably time to put them into a bigger pot.
