Ah yes. I forgot about the Qanon grift. In your opinion, is team blue innocent of this type of thing?
It is an objective fact that Team Red is guilty of "this type of thing". Qanon, Republicans, Klan, Aryian nationalist terrorism, white nationalism are all guilty of "this type of thing". Too funny you can't say it out loud.

That you have to go to a nebulous "In your opinion" leading question highlights the weakness of Team Red's defense.

I'm not running D for team red. I do understand that proclaiming an individual to be part of a team and then ascribing said teams wild negative attributes both factual and fictitious is a glorious debate tactic used often, as you're demonstrating here. Notice that team red is starting to do this a lot more as of late if you want, or just ignore it, whatever.

What would you wish me to say out loud? That team red, Jerone Davidson and literally 80+ million Americans are all "Qanon, Klan, Aryian nationalist terrorism, white national"ists as you so eloquently just did?

I think I will refrain from labeling half of my fellow citizens red, blue or purple, as stupid or scum, and maybe just reserve those labels for them individually if getting to know them warrants it.

I'm sorry you find that funny honestly.

Ok so, I asked in general and you stuck to a specific. I do admit I had higher hopes for the conversation, oh well.
If you want a conversation, jettison the maga. Also I answered the question as posed. Want a different answer? Ask a tighter or more specific question.

Seriously, if you see even one documented instance of Q allegiance not from the authoritarian far right, do contribute. Then it becomes a conversation.

seriously, if you eant a conversation, start with facts and not Big Lie such as the bolded.

1) false. Your opening post sings the Maga Hymn in full ironic-racist choral voice. At least be honest about pimping for team bigot.

2) This has been a GOP copyright since 1980. Since Reagan, “doing something unAmerican and then pointing at the other guy” has been to heir modus. Your narrative that this is a recent addition to the party platform will not survive five minutes of google. It’s a Republican cornerstone since right after Eisenhower, the last half-honest R President.

That's more than fair. I read your answer that team blue is innocent of any conspiracy grifts. I'm fine with that Frisbee where it was tossed, just not going after it.

no worries. But some good advice: next time you issue a challenge like that, do homework first.

I dislike reading about Repugs and their hypocrisies. Their immorality, and the shamelessness with which they pitch their evil as a virtue on suborned “news” networks, is abrasive to my spirit. I still do it on the principle that I’ll look less stupid speaking at those times when some new fact goes against my beliefs. I have a duty to watch the GOP as long as they are actively pursuing regime change.

An aside about “news”. The Federal gov’t used to come down hard on journalists, print or screen, who lied or did not correct an oopsie.
It isn’t doing that any more.
So it is that Fox et al. can run fictional entertainment such as Carlson (he is a paid actor and not a journalist. He works for the totalitarian arm of the hard right’s ministry of disinformation.)
This does a fantastic disservice to the tens of millions who watch it because the network (top to bottom) panders to their tribal impulses.
It weaponizes them into the slow relentless campaign to do to us what their great-grandfathers did to Germany in ‘33.

Stop carrying water for fascists and dominionists.

I did opine that I found the ad provocative, did I not? I literally said it's the most provocative campaign ad I have seen.

Now I will admit that I failed to specify. That is the most provocative contemporary American campaign ad I've seen.

I'm fairly familiar with The Big Lie. I know who invented the phrase and the villains he ascribed it to. The Capitalists. I am not super familiar with how it relates to MAGA though.

As to some other points you made: the ad in the OP "reeks of MAGA" or whatever because its literally titled Makre Rifles Great Again, so a flair for the obvious I suppose.

So I've been ascribed team red on the notion I chose to share this for some dubious Big Lie reason, when in fact this ad is trending pretty solidly. Almost 5 million views in a day. So I watched and shared in a politics section. Must be dubious on my part aye?

Perhaps we need a department of misinformation for all the butt hurt gathered by assuming what someone else intended. That always seems to go so well.

Provocative as a word choice is deliberately vague, and it makes it a no-brainer to conclude that you approve of the ad.

One of the big dishonesties in the ad is the portrayal of Democrats wearing Klan identifiers. This is laughable on the face of it since the mind-meld between the Klan (and lesser supremacists like Proud Boys) and the GOP has been unmasked.
Even conservatives would find the calumny offensive, since racism has no place in a stable society.

But when it is reported or inserted as fact on a supposed news network, after a hundred repetitions it is no longer automatically questioned, and after another hundred is accepted as true. It is a basic human phenomenon that such beliefs, ones accepted unexamined, are stubborn; merely proving them wrong does not work because accepting that carries a burden of shame for having been hoodwinked by one’s own laziness.

This is borne out by the fact that, at least for the last two years, not one of the hard-right trolls has stared a plain contrary fact in the face and said “maybe you might have something there”. The utter unanimity of the cognitive dissonances required to brandish the usual right-wing lies tells me that the condition is very unlikely to revert to sobriety.

typical of a person who knows that what they are doing is wrong.

Your post. It shows your blind and obeisance and supplicant posture to people to whom you cede control to your life,
