So if her family received no subsidies you would not have a problem with her campaigning against it?

I call BULLSHIT!

You are merely using it a vector of attack and justifying it with a specious hypocrisy claim.

Which does not matter because as I stated previously, the subsidies are perfectly LEGAL.

The subsidies are completely irrelevant. As are your objections.

It is you who are not paying attention.
Wow now you telling me what I would and would not do..ok JohnnyO glad you know me better then me....the fact is she does accept subsidies while complaining against it...and thats not an "IF"..she does...Take the money, but don't complain about others doing it..

Ron Paul came in with less then 200 votes behind her and the rest of those liars were 10's of thousands behind the both of them
This Guy Perry is supported by Colbert another Foreigner (Canadian) Bible thumper. There are ton of posts on Yahoo from people who live there about his Governorship and from what I understand he would lease or sell his whole state to make it look balanced. As a matter of fact this guy has cooked his states books for so long he has a huge a balloon payment due that he does not have the half of it to cure. Sounds like another drunken sailor spending on leave. My information comes form some well written post with facts and figures I obviously did not post here but did read from some one who has lived in Texas for the last 25 years.
I dont think a woman President will get any respect through out the world in my opinion. Heck if you extrapolate all the equal changes and who we have allowed to vote and what we have ended up with, I gotta say it was the wrong direction. I read where some one posted that you should have to own land to vote not be Renter with no skin in the game. I kinda agree with that, on a Federal standpoint. With State it should be the people of the state to decide on common laws but not to pick the big boys of Senate. Trying to get amnesty via a Senator who's agenda is to give away America like they are doing with our water supply. Those last two sentences are deep and not an attempt to be raciest but to exemplify agendas or self gain at the cost to the rest of us Legally here. Ron Paul has a lot of this thinking about giving away resources for a bottled water company to make a Billion at ultimately our expense. Or having the states decide on what is best for the states and has not really filp flopped or switched parties as this guy Perry has. I am sure if we were to dig on the rest of these liars there would be a mountain of dirt on them, yet my boy R.Paul has been plugging away for years without any dirt other them misconstrued wording of legalizing heroin. Which BTW was taken out of context and simply was a question from R.P stating:
"If heroin were legal would you do it?" In other words if something is legal like alcohol, not everyone uses or abuses it.
R.P 2012 for me!
tens of thousands? wow, last time i checked there were only about 17000 voters in the whole poll.

and 2 of the heavyweights, romney and perry didnt participate....but hey, that bubble is a really cool place to live.

women dont get world respect? tell that to margaret thatcher and golda meir. yes, you better google them, i am sure you dont know who they are.

now if you said "muslims" would not respect women, you would have been correct.

Either way both ron and bachman (though bachman is a retard) represent the tea party.
So this is really a victory for the tea party.

I have to agree that it is somewhat hypocritical for one to receive the very subsidies that one rails against. They should be on the table just like everything else including tax increases.

Warren Buffet just came out with an op ed in the NYT. In it, he tells Congress not to "coddle" him and other weathy people, and that he can and should pay more taxes. Good for Warren! However, until such time that Congress raises taxes, does anyone have any doubt that Warren and his accountants are taking advantage of every deduction and loophole, including (but not limited to) the Bush cuts? How is that different from Bachmann and subsidies?

Disclaimer: Anything in this post resembling support for Michelle Bachmann is coincedental, unintended, and regrettable.

No worries lol. I look like an idiot now, but that isn't a difficult feat :)

My point is, I think it is hypocritical of Bachmann, but Buffet is too.

i dont agree with that.

for instance, i think its ridiculous for the govt to say we will pay you for 99 weeks before you need to find a job. but if i get laid off, i will file a claim.

i dont think that makes me a hypocrit any more than the guy who complains about govt spending and works for a defense contractor.

now, if she was agaisnt handouts, but then tried to get rid of all of them, except the one she participates in....now she is a hypocrit.

just my opinion of course..

  • Bachmann wins straw poll in Iowa

Well if they had held it over the internet, Ron Paul would have won 92% of the votes.............

Probably so, BendBrewer. Speaking of Paul, do you think he "bought" votes too, like buying up a bunch of tickets and busing people in? I have no idea if he did or not, but I just don't see him doing that.

No, I don't think of Ron as a 'cheater'. You can't blame his supporters for being unified and coordinated. He has the most Grass Roots going on. Hell, I might support him if I thought he had a chance.
