Baking with Canna-coconut oil?

Hi all. I’m not sure if anybody can help me out - but I’m looking for ways to bake with cannabis infused coconut oil. I can’t find any no matter how much I search. I’m looking for non-gummy recipes. So, brownies, cookies, chocolate candy, etc. I attempted a boxed brownie/cookie mix. I replaced half the butter required with the same amount of cannabis infused coconut oil. It burned on the lowest suggested cooking time. It also was extremely dry. Any tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated.

The Canna-coconut oil shouldn't have caused it to burn. I have used it in several box mix items and all came out as expected. You should pretty much be able to use any recipe that uses oil or butter and replace with the canna oil.

One recipe I have started using lately is found here - chocolate peanut butter fudge

I replace half of the cocoa powder with hot chocolate powder, as all cocoa can be too bitter/strong tasting in my opinion. All you need to do is melt and mix stuff in a pan, so no real baking involved. I pour into ice cube moulds and freeze to make them set quickly in easy to eat portions. Keep in a fridge.

*edit - you posted in the concentrates sub forum. If you look directly above that sub forum you will see 'cooking with cannabis' sub forum. Plenty of recipes and tips in there.

I use my cocobudder in place of butter and it doesn't burn. Fry my eggs and pancakes in coconut oil and they never stick. Cookies come out greasy a bit so I use parchment paper.

Maybe check the temp in your oven. I used the laser thermometer after it was left on at 350 for an hour and it was 410 f'n degrees in there.

Good luck.
