What is this about GH "sweeteners"? Never heard of such a thing myself. Can I get a link for what you're talking about? Also, keeping the res temperature below 72 would be quite a challenge for me given my technique. You're still just using one 400 though right? That wouldn't make it too hard in your case I guess though. Damn, that PS is a lanky one! Good luck.
Hope this is of some help to u. As far as the temp..... U HAVE TO KEEP IT UNDER 72! Don't try to go against my advice brother. The guy at the supply store didn't bother to tell me that and it did a number on my roots. I almost lost my babies at week 4 of flowering. Once that res hits over 72 degrees for a decent amount of time ur res is gonna look like crap. There will be some kind of reaction to the nutes+Sweetner or something. The FloraNectar will start to curl. And then become a glob of nastiness, that will cling and suffucate ur roots. It happened in 6 different res so it wasn't just 1 bad mistake. I had to figure out for myself that I couldn't allow my temp to reach past 72. And normally it takes a few days before my res hits past 72 degrees, but I don't risk it anymore. My res will normally hit 67-70 within 12 hours and stay there a couple of days. BUT I STILL cool my res down twice a day. I just find the plant are soing so much better now. I'll drop a 2 liter of ice in each of my res for about 20-30 minutes and bring that res down to 60-62 degrees and she's good for 12 hours. Normally in 12 hours the res are at 67 degrees but being that I don't want to chance it getting hot in the room and my res going over 72 degrees so I cool my res back down to 60-62 degreesAnd the only reason why I bring my res down to 60 is within an hour she's at 62 degrees. I have upgraded to a 1000 watter a few weeks ago, which has really helped with the flowering. But even with the 400 w, I was still having to keep my res cool. Not as much when I didn't use that FloraNectar. Before I started to us that FloraNectar, it wasn't a problem. If my res hit 73 degrees, nothing would happen. even if it hit 77, nothing. Just cool it back down. The roots would have any affect from it. I also use Dutch Master Zone for my roots. As far as the PS The nodes are about an inch away as they were suppose to be. It was free though so I can't bitch. PLUS it was a great learning plant. They're very forgiving plants. VERY easy to grow + they seem to be pest resistant. I have SM and they don't seem to mess with the PS. Also the PS smells VERY VERY SWEEEEEEEEET! I love the smell. Despite what I've read on the internet, people bashing PS and the seed company that gave them for FREE(they seem to forget it FREE), I highly recommend the PS to anyone who can make it bushy. It seemed bushy in veg. The ones I have in veg now are a little bushier. And shorter than the one I got in flower now. The one in flower went into flower at almost 2 feet. This one is only 14-15 inches. Well see. Hey like I said I'm learning with them. It's def. a great strain to learn with, cause no matter what u'll get some sweet smelling nugs. Even if it's a small amount.
FloraNectar
Sweetener
Our scientists have formulated FloraNectar to optimize the greatest transference of sweetness and aroma into your fruits and flowers.
FloraNectar contains all natural raw cane sugar, molasses, malt syrup, select plant based esters, L-amino acids, organic acids, polyflavonoids, vitamins and essential minerals.
This unique blend of ingredients helps your plants regulate enzymes that trigger specific reactions involved in maintaining optimal metabolism. This allows your plants to achieve a balance between respiration and photosynthesis in high intensity growing environments where the rate of respiration can sometimes exceed the rate of photosynthesis.
As a result, FloraNectar ensures optimal metabolic rates during the flowering and fruiting phase when nitrogen levels have been reduced.
FloraNectar also promotes a sturdier plant structure during the vegetative phase when high levels of nitrogen are present.
FloraNectar fulfills the additional energy requirements of your plants throughout all phases of growth and during stressful times of transition.
