Barney’s farm purple punch

Hi everybody I’m located in wales uk currently growing purple punch I’m day 1 week 8 of supposedly 9 and no sign of purple now I did barneys mimosa x orange punch this time last year and that went way past it’s stated window so I’m wondering as I’ve never done a purple punch strain before I’m wondering if you that have experience with this strain have any input with your purple punch grows, when does the purple show up?? Struggling to get temps right down at night as humidity is rising and the dehumidifier is kicking in I’ve ice ready if needed but if the purple turns up as the plants matured that’s fine it will just have to go longer??

The one I had did not turn purple. Towards end of flower the sugar leaves edges will turn a whitish purple but that's about it. Amazing taste and smell tho. Not all "purple xxx " strains will turn purple. When purple punch cures it'll be dark orange hairy and darker sugar leaves. Darker bud in general but pretty dank

How long did your mimosa orange take? Got some at 7.5 weeks flower

Cracking smoke though but much longer than they say was more humidity when I did it but still went way over the 55/60 day they say
Yeah that's way longer than I expected. I was thinking about 9.5 weeks. I've got 3 plants. Two of them look like good yielders but the 3rd one has really small buds. Guess I got a bad phenotype

I grew Barney’s purple punch last round and the buds definitely turned purple at the end of the run. Decently fruity flavor also. I struggled with this one throughout with some beginner error, but the plant was pretty unforgiving (weak phenome along with beginner skills?) and the nugs frankly aren’t that potent. The plant’s health and the likely early harvest (cause the plant was hurting) probably contributed.

I had 4 got 23/24 z out of 1.2 x 1.2 so was ok and it was a lovely strong smoke think it could have gone a bit more also but I used ripen at the end to finish it off it hung around that long lol
