Jury selection is Aug. 1st.

She just got a letter yesterday stating that since she didn't accept their plea, they are now trying to charge her for her 2nd oui and operating on prescription meds and mj.
Last time she was there they offered the plea deal and told her she had to take it right then and there or all deals were off the table. If that isn't proof that they are crooked

I so rarely come through this board(couple times a year) I had missed this one.
I think you(gladstoned) had mentioned she was charged again to me at some point, but I didn't hear anything else about it; till I read this thread.
I 100,000% hope belle wins this case, but I know this will be a tough case when ya read her medications list and factor in the statement that her reaction time and attention span were not good.
A jury may not be very helpful I fear. Juries tend to be stricter than Judges believe it or not; although Delta county court system is super suck ass indeed.
I wish ya 2 the best and please post the court date and time for us.

Appreciate the support trial starts August 1st 8:30 am. I think my reaction was good compared to the time I had to react. I could have killed someone if I had not reacted the way I did. But I welcome you to court to here what happened from my mouth.

Thank you all for all your concerns and wishes. I would not take this to jury trial if I thought I was impaired in any way. The accident was my fault but not from impairment. I hope that I win and that I am not going through this for nothing and that this helps someone in the future from being harassed by this state.

That's ok I just want it to be known I was not impaired or under any influence of any drug. Yes they were in my system but that don't mean impairment. My lawyer seems to think we have a good case. There is alot about their evidence that my lawyer can dispute and she thinks I am a good witness to put on the stand. The prosecutors witness states he followed me for a while and I drove fine. That is in my favor showing I must have been distracted which I was trying to call the dentist to tell them I was running late and yes I did swerve when I dropped my phone. His lab witness we have testimony from other court cases where she states that the equipment used to measure the canabanoids or whatever it is that they actually measure are 30 to 40 percent in accurative. So it will be interesting case to say the least. My lawyer ended our meeting saying lets go get a big fat not guilty!!! She was opptimistic about the Koon case and was right and she says she feels the same about my case. Hope she is right again!!! And pray to god and my guardian angels to let the jury see that this prosecutor is just out to set an example out of me and that I truly am not guilty!!!! Wish me luck all jury trial starts Thursday morning and yes Eastern time.
