I just want to know where the best prices for buying your quantum boards and what are the best/most efficient boards right now? Going to put together a 2 or 3 board light to replace a indagro420 induction light I had to throw up to better cover my 4x8 in flower, alongside 2 other lights, each 6cxb 3590s@~400w each light. I have been reading thru the quantum threads, its been a couple years since I have built my cxb3590 lights, even have a couple cxa3590 and cxa3070 lights still working great, but figured why not try out these quantum boards. Found atrium lighting has samsung lm561c s6 boards for 45$. I will put a pic up when the lights come on if anyone has any recommendations for the area, otherwise ill keep combing thru the quantum threads and figure it out.

I did not try quantum board, I prefer leds with heatsink and certification, such as my Mars Hydro led and other America brands

so for a 4x4 tent I would need 4 of those boards, so that is 4 x 125 = 500 bucks. What else would I need? I don't know anything at all about LED but I am getting ready to make the switch.
Are you in AUS or US, price of 125 is AUD or Approx USD95 - 30% discount. You would possibly need a heatsink dependent on what drive current you want to run them at and a driver?
Cheers

US.... and I have no idea about what drive or driver. I have never used LED before, only HID, I am getting closer and closer to wanting to make the switch but I just get confused when I start looking..

so to be able to plug them in and start growing I would need 4 boards, heatsink for each board, and a driver?

You can buy x4 qb120's from amazon for $140. They don't need heat sinks, just a frame to put them on. And a driver to power them.
