Trump pardoning himself is a joke, he could simply assassinate Joe, Nancy and the entire democratic congress by recruiting a few hundred Trumpers and then pardon himself. If he was part of a criminal conspiracy with Pence, the pardon would be illegal. Anybody who he or Pence would pardon would have no 5th amendment rights, the future investigations will open them up like a can of beans or cage them until they do. Donald won't pardon anybody, including his kids and good luck pardoning the Trump org. Do you really think Pence wants to be left holding a big bag of festering shit by pardoning Trump? Joe should give him a friendly call and ask him if he had a stroke or went otherwise insane, Pence might be pardoning treason (literal, not legal) and Christ knows what else that will come up during the massive investigations that are months away.

Donald is going to prison ASAP, Mitch wants it more than Joe, nobody will be in control of the republican party until he is gone and silenced behind bars. Every elected republican is his slave and knows it, Donald's fate is sealed, not quick enough for the republicans, especially after he figures they stabbed him in the back and is desperate, pissed and stupid, while lashing out in all directions. Keep his focus on his public ego and his legal ass and off of destroying the country and decapitating the national security apparatus as he is doing now. After the 14th of December Joe might have to publicly threaten Trump and his remaining minions with legal retribution, these clowns doing Donald's bidding better hope they are rich, legal fees will run into the millions, but maybe not if they committed crimes, it could be over real fucking quick, it is a crime to lie to the FBI, even if you have been pardoned.

you can't pardon someone just to escape the legal system and wipe out potential future wrongdoings..it's in the rules.

The speculation on TV is just to drive up views and is ridiculous.

Let's say in a year the SCOTUS says Trump is God and can pardon himself for anything and the pardon power is absolute.
Joe straps on his gun and walks over to the SCOTUS and murders the conservative justices with private his body guards and on the way back blows Mitch away and hunts down as many republican senators as he can find. Then he just pardon's himself and those who helped and it just goes away like "magic"!

The pardon power is not absolute, it's limits just have not been tested and they are about to be, the judges know the implications of absolute pardon power and you cannot sell one, if you could Donald would have been advertising TRUMP brand Pardons long ago in the newspapers.

I think they sensed what a democratic landslide would mean and feared it like a sinner does the second coming, Trump whipped them up, but they knew what was at stake and that this was Armageddon for them, the final battle. Donald nearly led them to complete disaster and he is not helping in Georgia, if the democrats win 2 there Mitch is fucked and so are they. Mitch wants Donald on side and in Georgia, with his knife sticking out of Donald's back and him bleeding out support with each passing day. Mitch has to keep Donald from seeking retribution on them before Georgia, Mitch knows Donald will be put away and muzzled right after the election. Donald is a bomb ready to go off and I'm sure the democrats have several subtle ways to light the fuze.

Some of my neighbors buy guns every time a Democrat is elected. One guy has about 250. He's just a collector and actually not much of a nut. I live in a rural farming area. I hear gunfire most nights.

What's next for Donald, try and nuke the cites in blue states, unless Mitch begs him to spare Georgia until Jan 5th? If Donald got in would he have threatened blue state cities with nukes, I mean Mitch would be ok with it and the base all for it, that would sure trigger the libs... :lol:

Donald's finger on the nuclear trigger does that to folks, they imagine the worst, the dawn of the Nuclear Don, pay protection or get incinerated is his style for sure.
