I think maybe these types of practises are best left to the professionals. Hopefully 707 practises proper safety and ppe protocol. For me, I'd be concerned on what is being left over in the seeds themselves, possibly affecting the ladder generation, but that's just me. I prefer to not spray things that have 9page sds

FloreL never touches any of the breeding plants. I make backups of the males. After I select the winners from the reversed males the FloreL treated plants are tossed and the backups then is used to collect pollen.

I haven't tried it, but it does sound interesting. I'm pretty sure it's not limited to bananas, though. It's my understanding that plenty of fruits and vegetables produce Ethylene during ripening/rotting. Probably be best to put whatever fruits/vegetables you want to use in a bucket and seal the bucket with some kind of valve on it and a hose that you can point directly at the part of the plant that you want to flip.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. Hard to believe anyone would go through all the effort to clone out without knowing what they are cloning out.

I mean I do that with seeds sometimes. Do you think seeded bud is less potent, maybe it is but I'm not noticing a huge difference. Also can pollinate a single branch & leave the rest for smoke. I'm not a pro breeder just a closet chucker so sometimes just want to save time pollinating plants I haven't smoked. Making seeds is addictive as buying them lol

Yeh, I read that. He also said there that "The purples ones taste incredible like FF but also have the potency of Forbidden Fruit". So I'm just wondering why he's axing the purple's instead of also breeding them.
Edit. Ok, I see. He want's the punch of the Kush Cleaner. Seems to me that there's got to be a purple in there with the punch of the Kush cleaner.

I dont want to speak for him but I've followed sha on IG for a while and his heavily worked lines are geared to those who want stable, uniform plants instead of people just looking for one rare, outlier pheno.

As a hobbyist, that's awesome . Growing your own seed is very satisfying.

For someone that is selling seeds that's a no no for me.

Male has been selected. This guy has the terp profile I'm looking for. Strong fruit punch terps similar to forbidden fruit but with less floral notes and more candy artificial fruit punch smell. Unlike anything I've smelled in cannabis before. I haven't been this excited for a breeding project for a long while now.
It will probably be early spring before I use him to make f2s.
Thanks for following. See you back here around May of 2023
