There was a lot of talk about reversing males with Florel on ICmag back in the late 00's, Skunkman used it a lot in his work (I've also heard Nevil too). I like this thread a lot https://www.icmag.com/threads/male-clones-transformed-to-female-to-judge-male-smoking-quality.95646/ I think it's a no-brainer, it adds a ton of info about the male and takes nothing but time and effort. . I was planning on doing it with one of my C99 males, but now I think I'll wait until I grow out the Tom Hill Haze next cycle.

FloreL is ban in Europe. In the states you can buy it at most hardware stores. Cover up good when spraying with it and put on a respirator.

Sorry to jack the thread, but how would I use floral to stop some stressed induced herm going on. I just ordered some Florel and looking for proper dosage/mix ratio. I have noticed a few nanners on my ICC which have never hermed in the past. I did have some light exposure and possibly intensity issues. Thanks in advance!

When the clones are rooted I'll take one clone of each male. Veg for 10 days then flower and start reversing the males into females.

Reversing the male plants into female cuts out most the guessing work in breeding. I can pinpoint the exact terp profile, color, and cannabanoids that I'm looking for in a male plant.
The goal of this project is to lock down the green genotype of the Potion D Amour into seed form. I hope by F3 i should have this accomplished. If all goes well should be done with it in 4 years

Sha Bud the goat, Potion de Amor sounds great! Can you drop a line on Betsy ? I'm kicking the tires hard on picking her up.
 
Grew out the Potion de Amor and had an outstanding performance from them all indoors. The three phenos I saw were one real loud Tangie leaning that got fairly large and dense flowers with purple hues that held that smell and taste all the way through cure really well, stacked with golf ball nugs up the stem and got so heavy branches were weeble and wobbling last 2 weeks. The second one was another stacked plant that had a spiraling buds up the main branching and stayed green all the way through but had a mysterious lovely smell kind of a cream brulee and she was covered in White frosting and amazing producer but unfortunately I dried her out by accident night before chop so I rehydrated her and the plant came back to life but lost a bit of the great profile she had going. 3rd I found the most beautiful plant I've grown large purple flowers with sugar coated and a looser bud that would wash really well, this plant stacked itself really nicely but the scent was something different like lemon pine or strong floor cleaner. I have a few seeds left so we'll see. I had such a great grow I'm gonna kick around more like the 707 og to start with and may stick with running only 707 genetics because the genetics were strong and performed so well plus I like his line up it's what I've been searching for the last 5 yrs.

I just bought some potion d amore seeds. Are the ones you released the original F1s?
