sweet, judging by the growth of bud i would have guessed this one is gonna take longer than 8 weeks, 12-14 sounds closer to the mark!! supriced me how slow it has been to start off but thats all the fun of it eh? lights less than 12inches so yeah there healthy etc..
sweet, bet yours is starting to smelling sweet now, great stuff
peace
Yeah they really stink now even with the ona gels and packets of baking soda, they are really slow and if your used to growing indicas then it can be worrying at first but in the end the sativa will far outpower any indica imo:blsmoke:

Thanks for taking a look.
They are fed basic tomato food, miracle gro, molasess and every other week a very small addition of erricacious miracle gro to the mix to try to prevent to much leaf yellowing.
Obviously im pretty sure that you cant class miracle gro as bio but they are in soil and nothing weird has been added lol:blsmoke:

4 of my indica northern lights are ready after 43 days flowering, I grew them in hydro the 4 plants were spread out in different places in my grow room, 1 was under a 400w 1 was under a 600w and 1 was under a 1000w, the strain finishes in 6-7 weeks so in this instance from my experience it was genetic and not down to light power. Growing method can sure make a difference but not a massive one.

Ever smoked Northern Lights?
Good indicas are great, but great sativas that have been properly grown for 12-14 weeks and cured properly are the best imo anyway.
I have never seen any good sativa buds for sale in england, only indicas, theres not much profit in tall skinny plants that take up to 14 weeks to grow and 3-4 months to cure, not to mention their indoor grow difficulty.

One of the reasons for my posts are to show that you can stop an sativa from stretching to much and you can get a decent high strength yield from them.
I would encourage everyone to grow a mostly sativa hybrid of some kind alongside their indicas and try to keep it alive for at least 12 weeks and cure it properly before they smoke it:blsmoke:

I don't understand this bit... one of the characteristics of indicas is that they don't stretch. I suppose they might do a little if you have the light too far away... and this is encouraged on sog grows.

Plenty of growers and smokers already know the power of an indica... and they are also known for their heavy yields.

will someone just give me a quick run through of where its "legal to smoke and grow" in what countrys
Its legal nowhere in the world at all.
A common misperception is that hash is legal in Amsterdam but it is not, merely tolerated and overlooked:blsmoke:

they are looking sweet natmoon. your sativa seem more advanced than mine currently are. i am about 6 weeks and still all white hairs, basically no red ones? just bag seed so no clue as to what the traits of this one will do. what feeding schedule are you giving the sativa and for how long? right up to finishing or do you stop earlier than that?
peace

Feed on Mondays with water and nutes and Thursdays with water and molasses other days if they look dry i give them sips of water only.
I wont give any more nutrients after the end of week 9 only molasses, final 10 days just water lightly and daily,3-4 days total darkness and no water at all to finish.
Always beware headaches from overnuted and unflushed pot.:blsmoke:
