Cannabis reclassified to Class B drug in UK!

House of Lords (not even elected... just a bunch of old dudes who have power of veto over loads of laws) have just decided to reclassify cannabis as a class B drug as of January.

That puts it on a level with amphetamines and barbs, and probably means the price will double since dealing it would probably get a life sentence now

God knows what that means for growers - get busted with one plant, get thrown in the slammer??

This country is ridiculous.

hey i feel really sorry for you guys in the uk, nah i dont you should all be locked up by your lovely police force.FUCK just remembered im living in england. see there aint nothing wrong with this sprayed on shit. got to say there aint nobody going in jail for cannabis for life. and nobody is going to prison for 1 plant, british law sounds tough but aint as tough as america.

most police dont give a shit over here the only time they do anything is when they have got to. if your house is stinking up your street they gonna bust you. if your ex missus phones em and says youve got the new forest in your back bedroom they are gonna have to do something. other than that your gonna be alright wont be much change in sentencing unles you get caught sellin big amounts. so might affect prices slightly (good nws for some ;))

what a joke, they should separate politics from this sort of stuff if all they are gong to do is go against what the experts on the subject say. hopefully though everything will stay much the same.

they downgraded it and people just got lazy/didnt care about open public smoking so the arrest figures went up, will the reclassification make people smoke less or stop growing??? we all know the answer.

i cant honestly see it changing the price that much either

thats a very good question and if we had a choice in this not free world then we probably wouldnt even have a royal family. i think the lords is a balance against the commons.
