I think my grow is roughlly the same amount of space if not a tad shorter. I can only hope to have buds as big as yours!

man those things look tasty. Its crazy that youre about to harvest and im just now putting mine into flowering haha. I will def look into some dwarf/autoflower strains next time around. Thinking about a SOG set up with plants kinda like yours (short 1 cola).

Just remember not all strains turn very amber. I can attest to it here with my first grow. I got some Dinafem Kush a few weeks back that was very amber, but the med's I have (this G-Bomb stuff) isn't amber for me, nor is it amber for the other person I know who grows it. I just had one of their buds last week and looked at it under my loupe - and that was an already cured bud.

Definently look at them as an indicator of the plant maturing. But the calyxes will swell and the pistals will die too, it's combination of things I've learned. If you look real close though I bet you will see brand new pistals mixed in there, so don't let that skew your image.

around all the buds there will (should) be a forest of microscopic mushroom looking things ... you'll need a decent magnifying glass or portable microscope.... i have a 30x jewlers loupe (same difference) ... look for these fluid filled tiny mushroom shapped thingies and check daily for signs of cloudyness starting .. my advise is cut them when 50% have turned an amber like colour

many strains have pistols that turn orange/brown well early... some don't change at all until the bud is past its best.... not good news for the budding smoker!

Thanks toutie! Yeah i picked up a microscope about a month ago =) And it has made this whole processes even easier. Thanks for the pics also, I think I am even closer to harvest than if I looked at the pistols. Monday of next week should do it.

Thanks dude! I'll be over to check yours out here in a little bit. This grow is no wear near over also. I am taking clones every two weeks from a KC36 mother I have. After I harvest my Royal Dwarf, I will most likely be planting a different AutoFem strain I picked up back when I purchased all of my seeds. Thanks again for checking it out.

Thanks man! Yeah i hope mine ends up turning out like a sog with all of the clones I'm going to be taking. I am trying on the second batch of clones to top them and see if that keeps them a bit shorter. Will be updating those girls after I have put them into flower for a few weeks and have stretched.





ALSO, My mother is getting her med card on wednesday. This is a women who has been against marijuana her entire life, so this is a big leap for her. She is going to be trying it for the first time with my MFLB. I'm pretty excited for her, as it will help with multiple conditions she currently has. i.e. rheumatoid arthritis, depression (from pain pills), fatigue and fibromyalgia.

Thanks man. Yeah it threw me off because I keep getting new pistols. SO, that helps me a lot. I'll keep that in mind also (about not all turn amber). I'll be watching her extremely closely over the next few days.

From what I understand, as the pistels die off, new ones grow back to replace them. You're supposed to not include these new ones when working out your percentage. That's what I read anyways - But then again, my memory isn't all that either pmsl so I still could be wrong!
I borrowed this book from my mate called 'The Cannabis Grow Bible' and I swear it has every single bit of information that you could possibly need! A recommended buy

In my Flowering Container I have: (4-27k) x 4 + (1-50k) x 1

Wow thats awesome! Is she definently getting it Wed. Or getting the paperwork signed, or? Here it's a process and it took me about 7 weeks beginning to end.

My mother knows I have mine... I have neurological problems so I qualified easily and I told my mother right away. She has PTSD as my sister is disabled and homebound. She was a young mother and back in the 80's you can imagine how tramatic it was to raise a disabled child without all the knowledge and support of knowadays. Recently she's got some hip thing too, they've burnt of nerve endings 3 or 4 times and shes had physical therapy for almost a year. I told her she needs to stop seeing these quack doctors and deal with the pain. Time to get her on the mmj! LOL She doesn't even drink yeah right.

I have been seeing new pistals growing (as I said) - so what you read is true. That grow bible, if it's the same one a friend of mine has, is awesome! A lot of great information to be learned in there.

Although this is my first grow, I've never paid consideration to any of the pistal or trichome percentages folks list. I do however keep all of the info stored in my head when I'm making my judgements. It's hard to explain. The best advice someone ever gave me is wait/look for it to have that "done" look and feel. When you've worked though with fish, bugs, etc for a long time - that feeling comes naturally. I assume "normal" outdoor gardeners get that same feeling with their spring/summer/fall blooms.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that my friend. You might be shocked to believe it but it's NOT easy here to get your card. Like I said, I have a (qualifying) documented, "condition". I didn't ask to start having muscle spasms, having random disorientation, etc. I also didn't put my condition on the list of qualifying ailments. However I paid a consultation service $300 to look at all of my medical history (I had to gather it all) and basically say just sign my papers. No brainer for them. My physician is in his late 60's, no way he would have ever endorsed me using mmj, so that was the only route for me to go!

My mothers pain management doctor I think might sign it if she brought it up. But like I said, she doesn't even drink - so I'd have have a hard time convincing her to treat with mmj. After 30 something years of dealing with a lot of it though she is slowly losing her faith in conventional medicine. Shes in her 50's and is a "house wife", is in pain... come on!!!

I hear you man... my mom had to go through sending in her medical records also. But that's because our healthcare provider is paid off by pharma so there is no way they would ever sign for mmj.

Dude if you could bring it up to her.. and get her to watch The Union or show her the facts, along with the fact that she trusts you, I think you have a good chance on changing her perception of this herb. I thought the exact same thing you did 4 weeks ago. But I had to go for it because my moms conditions were debilitating her.

I did start off talking about the political side of it all haha. Had to feel the waters if you know what I mean.

My mom has been pretty strongly against mj for a long time now (she claimed she smoked, did cocaine, etc in college/hs but now she just drinks... a lot). It was so hard for me to try and convince her that it was better than alcohol and just about everything else when i was living with her but she just wasnt having it (if it was illegal it was a no go) but now I can see shes starting to change. On top of me telling her the facts over and over again the media is bringing more exposure to it and i have now actually witnessed her arguing FOR mmj to her PARENTS. I almost cried... it was like I was speaking through her... I hope that it'll be legal in her lifetime so I can convince her to smoke some with me.

FYI, she is WELL aware that i smoke (a lot) it's just kind of a "dont ask dont tell" thing when im around her (and her boyfriend... this is the main problem right now haha)

Haha well that's good bro. That's really exciting that she is coming around. Have you seen the documentary "The Union"? It is by far the best source to get the general facts out by someone who knows very little. And it's also entertaining and holds you attention. If you could ever get her (and even her bf) to watch is, that would be sick. I think it would shake up their thoughts about the whole situation and might even make them frustrated with our govt. which, IMO, i think every american should be at this point in time.
