Did I say that, no I didn't.
If Chic-Fil-A refused to serve gays and lesbian customers or treated them any differently, I would be one of the first to speak out against them.
I don't even have a problem with people not supporting Chic-Fil-A, it's the government officials and the media who are publicly inciting boycotts that pisses me off.
It's just a chicken joint. Why is it necessary for those who think they are right to shove their ideaology down others throats? Is it not possible for people to respect a difference of opinion?
Because the one side actually believes that it is the majority's obligation and moral imparative to deny rights to a minority. Most of us find this repugnant. My "shoving my ideology" down the throat of a believer in white slave trade for instance, is somewhat acceptable. I do not respect the difference of opinion of someone who is willing to inflict pain upon another group who has done nothing to the first except be an affront to their sense of morality.
lol!! well i was getting tired of hearing about them and think its stupid people are making a big deal about that shit. glad they made big money!
you know it seems like americas mass population just always wants something to be pissed off at and like a fad they go from one thing to the next never with a break in between.
I fail to see what pain is being inflicted other than on a chicken joint with employees who have bills to pay and families to feed. Your ideaology to me seems over the top in this. No I do not share the chicken joint owners opinion But I have to respect his right to have it or I would be a hypocrite in my own eyes. That doesn't mean going along with him either. I spent many years organizing protests- for things like equal rights.
Contributing millions to organizatons that expressly hate gays in a variety of ways is what I believe to be inflictions of pain. I recall a documentary about the engineering companies in Nazi Germany who devised more efficient ways to incinerate bodies. Those engineers had families and were just trying to put schnitzle and potatoes on their family tables.
Right but they were contributing to the murder/ genocide of an entire people not serving chicken or cooking it. I know muslims, jews and a couple of catholic priests who I really do not care for should I protest them too?

They are working for a man who siphons millions of the money they help him earn into the persecution of a group of humans who have done absolutly nothing to infringe upon the rights of that man.
so mr Cathy is racist and homophobic for stating he believes in "traditional marriage", and he should be silenced, and prohibited from donating to causes that he supports to protect the first amendment rights of homosexuals.
meanwhile your demand that he be silenced or prevented from donating to causes he supports is just your first amendment rights.
you gotta let out the clutch before the gears will engage bro.
No no no Doc, this has nothing to do with his beliefs and it has nothing to do with his "support" of "traditional marriage". It has to do with his financial support of organizations that seek to disrupt and torment gays. Were he to simply "support traditional marriage" then he would be sending money to churchs and perhaps personally boycotting gay marriages but he goes much further than that.
