Cloning with honey?

The plants popped straight in soil, just prop up with a wooden skewers to hold them up until they don't need them anymore. I also wouldn't be spraying the leaves, but that's just me.

The ones in water bottles, make sure you change the water regularly.
It’s in brand new water bottles. Would that still need to be changed? Also, I do spray the leaves and give about 5 sprays into the peat moss

Yes, change the water daily! That's really important. If you were aerating the water with a pump it wouldn't be as big of a deal. The water will go stale and cause rot issues. If you don't change the water it will get slimy pretty fast.

Do you think I can get away without putting bags on them?
If they are not drooping and depends on the humidity. I have cloned in str8 coco stuffed into those 1020 tray inserts that was with a dome for the first few days however. Also in a cup with peat. Sometimes I used rooting powder and other times not a thing so it will work anyhow.

Ok, I’ll change the water tomorrow. I’d hate to have 3 perfectly good bottles go to waste. But I’ll def change it out tomorrow

So here’s what’s going on... the clones I cut and placed into foil cups all had honey on the base. Only one is left standing... nice and stiff, think it’ll make it. The other 5, well here it is. View attachment 4700219

I’m running a second “set” of clones. This one is only 3. Each is in their own water bottle. They all look very promising! No wilting, reaching for the light and seem like they will create very nice clones of my plant, that is if they root! View attachment 4700222

Any suggestions for my 5 wilting clones?
did you ever have a dome for the ones in foil ?

I live in California, I don’t believe in tap water even to drink for myself, why give it to my plants?? Here is some of muck I pulled out from my humidifier that uses only tap water. View attachment 4700297

I only water my plants with RO water, including my boy that’s outside. I’d rather start my clones in water bottles lol
Where in California do you live. Truckee water was pretty damn good.

Nah, I think it’s because I over saturated the peat. They look over watered! Lower stem is solid and stiff, just the top of it is all droopy. I stood them up, and will keep it moist, not soaked like I did. Hopefully they root, if not I think my bottled clones will clone just fine!

Hey, if I had a well I would water with that! Unfortunately I’m in an apartment.. so unfortunately I don’t have the “cleanest” water lol

Yup I used it the 1st few days they’re still standing but brown as hell not all way dead though
I’ll try it tomorrow if there’s no improvement. Currently I’m over my legal limit if all the clones make it anyways. Even if I get 3-4 clones I’ll be stoked! Heck, even one clone and I’ll be stoked lol. This plant has not only grown phenomenal, but it has given me little issues as far as deficiencies. I just want to keep one clone for myself to mother her out and create new clones to fill in my tent once I harvest. My next setup will be 4 of these plants, smaller of course to see the yield difference and see if there is any change in quality
