Cloning with honey?

I still don't understand how my grandmom just left her houseplant cuts in milk bottles on the windowsill and they produced excellent root systems, I've tried several times and failed
WTF??? I thought Grandma was the only one using glass milk bottles. Considered them a terrarium pretty much

well, i'm using regular water bottles... BUT idk what im doing lol! I'm simply changing the water every day. i've noticed what look to be hairs starting to poke out all over the stems of the clones in the bottles. So maybe its starting to root? I'm not sure. hopefully I get at least one clone of this plant!

I am officially starting a seed in an old school glass Coke bottle, she'll form like a bouquet

I cant explain it but , i can clone my mini jade bonsai trees just from sticking the leaf in soil. Starts rooting after 2 weeks
Hmm you just reminded me of when I attempted to clone a money plant and dude on youtube said you had to pluck a leaf and then let the tip 'scab' over by drying before sticking in soil otherwise they would rot, and it worked. Not sure drying canna cuts would work though
