I think the literal translation is "appeal to ignorance". Ignorant rant is good. In the context of my comment, I meant it was one of several kinds of logical fallacies that dipshits use to browbeat in a disagreement.

Well, yeah,
Once a person has been executed the state has no interest in proving itself wrong. It will also be incredibly resistant to helping a private person gain access to information. In an honest debate, the person making the claim should be able to prove their case. Instead Taco appeals to the lack of proof as proof, a logical fallacy.
