Conway Cartels' first strain

3 weeks ago 12.12 from seed

8 made the first cut and the others are outside in the trash bin
2 more in the white bucket.

mainly looking to see how much root space 10 plants take up from start to finish with no veg time.

these are the 3rd generation and they are all female, so far, no nuts as of yet but definite pistils are growing and 3 are growing very nicely and the others are just growing

some konway kartel and blue widow, a real citrus peppery sting your nostrils kinda smoke
i failed my drug test to be a dealer in the casino, lol. o well

fresh this morning. Woke up to a stinky house..and cold. Got to 25 last night sometime, winter is around the corner hopefully. No offense but you downstaters need to leave the North soon.
SO the plants are in dark now hence the droopy leaves and they are coming out on the really sativa side with their skinny leaves and tallness. Still no nuts yet and they are getting a slight feeding this week.
as you can see i have weeded out the "good growers" and left the tallest and the better growing plants so I am at 8 growing, but for me its always quality over quantity anyway.

looks like the Sativa side is really dominate, the ones i have are twins to the first picture, tall and lanky. good to see yours are growing, makes me think I might have something worth trying to refine a bit more.
Thnx for the post Rzza.

i am floored that they look that well for a first time seed harvest.
Konway Kartel is a group of 2, me and a good friend up the road. Sitting baked one night at the kitchen table and that name just came to us. I gave them some for their birthday last week and called it konway kartel so IDK, for growers purpose I still call it HBxC, but since they were 2 different strains in my garden at the time, I guess the name really dosent matter to me, not like anyone outside of you and me and some others will call it that, others getting a F2 or F3 call it whatever they want.

2nd round of Konway Kartel has begun.
Just soaked over night and now they are on the cable box till they sprout.
I plan on having the hydro system setup since the temps have dropped below 70F, so I am looking to put 4-5 in hydro and the rest in soil to see the difference.
should be interesting

there are 21 in rockwool. from that I will get the best ones and pitch the rest.
I still have almost 30 in the towel and I will put those in rockwool and hand those out over the next few days to my "posse" ;-) (posse of 2 lol)

I soaked the rockwool for 1/2 hour before they received the taproots and i also added some Micro from GH in the water at a very small level. One drop of micro to a large glass of water will help introduce nitrogen to the taproots, and it seems to work well.
so now the whole thing is on the cable box staying warm until they sprout than the T5's are turned on and by then it should be winter and the temps are lower :-)

I am on the 2nd day of my 2 month drying out period, self imposed.

these are f2 seeds and thats what i smoked last month and now its time to refine the strain some more by keeping the good ones and tossing the bad ones out. once i get the stability and the strength i ma looking for, I make seeds of that by crossing it with itself again, backcrossing, and then find another strain that might be a good match and start all over with that strain and in a few years i will marry the two and see what happens. I have a picture of a flow chart in my head that makes sense of all this nonsense..i think :-)
