what did you use to connect the fans together? Nice job.i was too tired after chopping and rebuilding to this that the screen is in bad and the plants are not spread out at all.that is 4 gorrilla glue 4 in there .i could not fit the third light bar in .the filter would make it too low

the lights are passive cooled.the heat sinks are hs usa 10 inch profile cut 5 inches long.i used 1/4 inch by 1 inch aluminium stock to build the light bar.there are 4 bars on each light.48 inches longwhat did you use to connect the fans together? Nice job.
Can you not put the filter outside the area and push the air through it that way rather than sucking from within it? It would be just as effectivethe lights are passive cooled.the heat sinks are hs usa 10 inch profile cut 5 inches long.i used 1/4 inch by 1 inch aluminium stock to build the light bar.there are 4 bars on each light.48 inches long
right above the lights is a 8 inch phat filter and fan.that is why i can only fit 2 light bars in there .i can only raise them about 8 more inches higher and they will be alongside the filter then
the cabinet was built to grow 4 plants vertical.there are 2 light proof baffle boxes down low for air intake and the big filter up top to remove the heat and circulate air.it was running 2 600 watt hps bare bulbs in there before this test.this is what the cabinet had in it hours before the pic with the cxb lightsCan you not put the filter outside the area and push the air through it that way rather than sucking from within it? I'm surprised those heat sinks don't need any cooling man.the day night temps are only 2 degrees difference with the leds in there.it was 12 degrees with 2 600 hps in there in the winter.the light bar pics are of the first one i built.the ones hanging in the box have 2 switches each bar to turn off a pair each switch.View attachment 3606388

DON'T TAP. WASTED TIME.Just drilled and tapped holes on one 36 inch heat sink. It was a challenge. Broke one 3/32 bit. Update coming soon.
just ordered the m3 8mm screws from hong kong. 20 ct for a buck 90. A pack of 2 was like 4 bucks in USA. Fuck that noise. Thanks for the pro tip. I have 3 long heat sinks left so you may of saved me some time. This drilling is a bit tedious with a hand drill. I wish i had a drill machine.DON'T TAP. WASTED TIME.
