Great photos. Wow. Do you think a 2x4 is big enough to grow 4 plants with a ebb n flow hydro setup? I'm debating on going bigger but I'm afraid too big the operation will be too obstructive and difficult.
Yes BeKind, I totally feel you on the fish tank being therapeutic. I'll sneak in a pic of it among my future grow pics, lol. I want 2 tents so I can go perpetual!! So ya, my list on paper looks like:
-a Phantom Ballast,
-HydroHut Silver Edition tent, 4x4x (7 or 8, can't remember how tall it ...using HydroHut because it seems to be the only tent company who acknowledged the toxic off-gassing thing that I initially posted about.
-600w Hydrofarm Radiant, I may get a MH conversion bulb and veg in there too if I can't get a good veg room somewhere else.
-400cfm inline fan, active air, (anyone think 400cfm is too much for a tent? Given my primary concern was the toxic off-gassing of a plastic tent, I wanted to error on the side of safety seeing as how 1 fan would be handling exhaust, light cooling, and air filtration )
-an appropriately sized carbon filter depending on the size of my inline fan.
-AND now I'm still contemplating getting an intake fan just from what I read on the hydro hut link ( http://www.hydrohuts.com/Faq.html ), Still looking for more input on this matter tho.
-In addition, I'm planning on using CANNA nutrients, Ideally the whole line if I can afford it, tho I may skip something till round 2 to save money.
I can't wait to put my order in!!!! Obviously I'll keep y'all posted!
Ya no prob, glad it can be of use to you. I am going pass on the intake fan for now and see how it goes. and FOR THE RECORD....I did some serious due diligence when tent shopping and I have decided that the SILVER EDITION HYDROHUT is for sure the tent to go with. It was the most expensive tent I found at $350, but I weighed pro's and con's, did all the grener's reviews, and when I put my order in,( YES, MY ORDER IS IN!!!!!!!! 2 MORE DAYS!) the 20yr+ owner of my local garden store said that this "was a great tent, not made of flimsy cheap plastic like the others, and its got a removable floor piece that comes out for easy clean if you spill anything".
So for all tent shoppers, I am recommending spending the extra $100 and get the Silver Edition. Not to be an elitist, but think about it, items that cost less do so because they are inferior....I will cheap out on my shampoo and laundry detergent....not on my cannabis, lol.
your going to be getting a happy load worth of buds off your biggest since you waited the perfect amount of time to flower. looking good, and why did you train the plant in the first pic?
