to be honest i would get some kessil led and add them on each corner of your hps. but i have not tested them. but the reviews on them are all thumbs up. what is your grow area size? you can get 4 kessil 150 deep purple or the more red light mag one. mount to each corner of hps or hang them there and you would taste the diff and the affect. hps gives great yeild and great quality but take it from 4 stars to 5 stars. i can only speak from others grows so far. ill let you know when i upgrade my lights. first ill buy a kessil 350 DP then a 400 watt cmh. then another Kessil. unless my ufo shows me it can hang then ill buy those instead of kessil. this is a test grow and a learning grow for me. i have more to learn and test yet but i make my money working in summer time. then i can buy buy buy. this time i should get 6 oz from my plants enough to keep me in weed all year.

I have had a few snags. 1 bad nutes. 2 it turns out the air injection hasnt been working the air lines sealed back shut. found this out when i removed first one for transplant. so i use the safety pin still to punch holes in air line but i also heat it and then it melts a hole in the airline permanently. since the transplant all plants are going nuts again. so that explains allot to me. leaves acting like the plant is drowning(well it was) since it had no oxygen. my 1 blueberry has taken off huge again. she has 6 tops. i love learning new stuff and wow indoor growing is teaching me tons. i will get bigger lights then its on for my c99 which will be a tree with scrog lol.

So THATS why your plants looked water logged? Thats why I was asking about the air injected soil and wanted clearer pics...they looked like they were seriously drowning :shock: Im glad you figured that one out...:)

yep that is why MD the air wasnt getting into them. Md was right. they getting air now. my soil bubbles air when i water. I'll keep and eye on them but there is no way it will stop unless the pump dies. and its a good pump. This system when working rocks. i should have known when a plant was shrinking lmao. live and learn right. I have allot to learn and im learning from the best. i will look into some real good airstones for future grows. as ill be able to afford replacing them every grow. I also want to buy 10 gallon pots. so i transplant 1 time into 10 gallon pot veg for 2-3 months while doing lst/top. till they are 2 ft tall then flower them and they should finish 4-5 ft tall with 30-40 tops. Md did you watch the video on auto's? in giant pots with hydro they can put out 3-4 oz in 70 days. if i get my system dialed in i can do the same with 10 gallon pots. but i want to use clones and do the same.

But aren't you sacrificing quality from soil for yeild with hydro? I guess it's a matter of opinion but I know tomatoes grown in soil sure taste better than tomatoes grown in hydro...I'd imagine it's the same for everything...

yes that is why im trying this air injection soil. organic nutes only. i do agree i dont eat or smoke anything that isnt grown with organic. thats why i have a cig machine so i can make sure i dont smoke chemicals. now i foudn the issue im back on track. i knwo this system can grow as good as hydro. work out the bugs and then get big lights. i might jsut say screw it and get a 600 hps for my room. depends on money.

Subscribe its just beginning really. The fun part start now. Even if my buds turn out airy ill make all hash. i know that some will since i dont have the big lights right now. but this will show me which light makes better smoking buds(taste/affect). After this and i get bigger lights that grow will rock better. then i get to make hash/oil/butter.

Looking great bro. I do love your buds. I'll have some sweet bud pics coming on also. this dang sativa (the unknown) I wished i would have topped her and done some lst. she is now finally slowing down in stretching 38 inches to the bend(supercrop) then another 21 inches horizontal. that branch i bent is gonna put out allot of sweet buds.Here is pics. the bend-->IMG_20140318_083454.jpg then the lower 38 inch->IMG_20140318_083512.jpg
Once my bluebery catches up iin height almost there now ill turn this plant so the branch is under the main led, i figure 3-5 days i have to make sure the tops get the best light. gonna be tuff since my blueberry has 6 tops. wow that reflection is wild. trippy kinda.

Okay measured C99 she is 24 inch wide. i fim-ed today 13 tops lol. there was 4 more but not big enough yet(ill do those 4 in 1 week). here is 2 pics
whole plant-->View attachment 3026783 closeup-->View attachment 3026784 this is gonna be 1 big lady. in 7 weeks my flower room will be empty and im gonna use all lights i have plus a new one to flower this lady. she will have 40+ tops will have to scrog her for sure. I do love growing indoors. takes time to work out the snags. I do believe i have them on auto pilot. jsut water/feed 2 times a day and timers do the rest.

vn skinny. no my C99 has to wait for flower room to open up. she will also need another light with all the ones i have. i want 40 plus tops, she had 13 that i fim yesterday. and 4 more i will fim in a few days. that will get me the tops i want. then i will also scrog her. i may must get a 600 watt hps i found one for $110 on ebay(160 with air cooled hood).

How many weeks of veg do think she will need? 40 plus future tops whoa, I'm getting dizzy and DC more plants to take care of. Yikes too much for my plate!!! Keep up the good work bro. Learning alot from you when I can keep up with you..lol.

she will be about 100 days of veg when i put her into flower. but im not trying to get little buds. i want cola's big fat huge ones that each way 14-20 grams each. that is why i think i need to just get a 600 watt hps. i dont think anything smaller will do it.

ty so 3 gallons of water with nute mix in 36 hrs lol 6 plants. the C99 and Big Blueberry are the 2 main drinkers right now. the other 3 will start drinking more now till flower stretch is over.

ty dank. not sure how far back you read but i had plugged ait lines and my plants were drowning lmao. when i made new ones i burnt holes in the lines so they will not seal shut again with a safely pin. they are now loving life again. this did stunt all my plants for around 1 month or so. learning new tech can be fun.

Yes yes yes, i am gonna buy t5's for a friend and he is gonna send me a 600 watt hps.mh setup dimable with wing reflector. i will then be able to redo flower room with led hps 600 watt and add my c99 in sweet. im so Fing happy. time to build a scrog. 40-50 tops for c99 and my yield will be up to .8 gram per watt. sweet. did i say how excited i am. Ill have to hang more mylar to go up 2 ft more and hook up ac unit i already have/portable 15000 btu. my buds are gonna be sweet.
