Truly crowding out the rest. Starting to see some brown pistils…:D Honestly will be helpful when I can chop this one down, as the others are a bit behind and might be able to spread out a bit. Still a ways to go, clearly, but this one is fun.

The plant with the swelling buds was planted at the same time as the two that are just starting to stretch. The tall one was planted a little latter. Everyone adapting to whatever space is left from the big girl. Getting excited…

I’m a dumbass for planting two photos in a small tent from which I’m really working an auto schedule. Just realized it, lol. Fortunately, the big girl is getting closer while I work out what to do next. Thinking of just tossing the photo and getting two new autos going. Already did ditch one that wasn’t healthy, was taking up needed space, and was a popular spot for the gnats. Shit! Good news, I was working through freebies on this grow and just got a bunch of new seeds. Thinking of popping new autos and ditching the mistake photo. We’ll see. Here’s the big Gorilla Cookie. Yum.

Chopped the big Gorilla Cookie plant. Day 95. Pretty meaty buds - definitely my biggest single auto harvest. I’ll try to remember to record dry weight here when the time comes. Tossed the two photos…but I’ve planted two newly arrived varieties and have the second gorilla cookie coming along nicely. I hope these nugs press well!

The first Gorilla Cookies plant yielded @130 grams of nice buds, highly recommend this variety. Decently potent, presses well. Letting the one plant take over the canopy has encouraged me to try a more staggered approach. Can only work three at a time now that I need the heater, which adds a few challenges I’m still trying to work out. Some seasons simply produce better grow environments in my basement than others.

Two new plants:
Chem n’ Kush, from Night Owl, starting to get a little training.

Toof Fairy, from Mephisto, a couple weeks behind that one.

Second Gorilla Cookies looks line she’ll be productive. Had to grow tall rather than wide as her sister was taking up so much space.

I’m taking a three pronged attack to the damn gnats. Pellets, sticky strips, diatomaceous earth. Keeping things under control, but they are real bastards to fully eliminate. Oh well. Grows don’t seem worse for wear.

Current state of things. The big auto is around 115 days now and just doesn’t seem to be getting to the final stage. Weird auto genetics, maybe? Still should be good herb. Can’t hold herself up anymore. About 5-10% white pistils, though plenty of amber, and she’s losing pungency, so I’m thinking it might be time to chop.

There’s a new sprout out of sight in there, Zklittlez, from Fastbuds. Really happy with my first two plants from them. Small one in the pic is a plant I accidentally topped a few days ago starting the lst, several inches of growth gone, but it’s starting to grow again. More advanced young plant is Chem n Kush from Nightowl, a new to me breeder. Takes the LST really nicely, but is already showing preflower and may not be a huge plant. We’ll see. Added a shot of some buds from the recent gorilla cookie harvest. These went to the press and returned around 23% in rosin weight. Good pressers.

I looks to me like your Big Auto has more time left. Color of gland head is a solid indicator to go off of but it's not the holy grail. The calyx will swell with resins when she is at full finish. Wait for the swell bro. The resin glands ripen repeatedly and you very likely have another 1-2 weeks. When in doubt, wait it out.

Thanks. I know they don’t look quite ready. Just an oddly behaving plant. I’m in no hurry either. Worries me a little that she’s lost the ripe odor that she had for a time there. A seed from the same pack was truly ready at 95 days. Genetics.

Ain't that the truth, lol. Genetics are what they are.

Can you lower your temps? Possibly running a bit warm and the temps are volatile so that could be where your loss is coming from.
