DIY with Quantum Boards

You can reapply some dye at home with some fabric dye and hot water.

The colour is not a big deal, dirt on a heatsink has a much bigger effect than colour.

Hey man, hope all is well.
After you mentioned this to me previously I checked my 260w kits out pre packing them away. They were as black underneath as they were on top.
Strange goings on!!
Wats up my friend? All well here.
How are you getting on with your move?
I ordered those "Rita meter maid" boards from China and they seem ok in testing so far.....

It could be a problem. Depending what they actually coated these with........ god only knows what it could be outgassing in the process! @Stevenj37826, someone needs to look into this!

True, cause you could use just about anything to dye them with.
You basically stretch the pores with heat, pigments go in, and it gets locked inside when it cools down.

Its isn't off gassing. It's fading out because of the light exposure. There are two types of black anodizing. One is rated for outdoor use which apparently isn't what they are using. I'll have @robincnn look into it.

I'm all good man. The move went smooth considering it was when we had the beast from the east in full swing.
But I'm still dealing with putting the old house back to normal. Bricking back up the chimneys and removing the sound proofing and I wish I hadn't changed my set up so many times because the loft alone filled two rooms and I'm trying to rehome most of the old stuff rather than bring it all to the new house. Its taking time but thank god for bank holidays! bongsmilie

Had some interesting finds in the new house. I figured the hook holes in the ceiling and the evidence of cello tape on the inside of the double glazing were tell tale signs enough, then I step on some hydroton in one of the rooms and when I finally got access to my garage I find a BBQ full of old HPS bulbs.... Everyones a grower these days.. lol

Will leave you with this..

Al only in anti-antiperspirant, deodorant doesn't have it! Any dye is probably safer than some of the shit people put in their plants!

Makes for a better mind fuck .............
I lovE dye in my buds ..... Add more cowbell !

I would worry more about the aluminum caked under your armpits from your deodorant.
You stinky bastards .....

Yes .., I'm fucced up right now.
