DIY with Quantum Boards

That's not a Horticultural Lighting Group Board, just another imitation so how can we recommend a product we've never tested? Some of these QB imitations are running chips claimed to be Samsung, but are actually just cheap Chinese junk, be careful what you buy!
Maaaannnn, I would never buy shit like that!!! Doesn't even look right!!! Not happening for me!!!

Oh yea, thank you. I read the link you sent and i think i get it now alittle bit you mean quantum bords are the best lamps anyone can find on the internet orshop for grow cannabis? And could maybe grow tomatoes or cucumber also if we want free salad in my home, or is this lamp only for weed ?
Thanks for help

They are good lights. You can use them for tomatoes if you like. I would probably use the space for weed though, since an ounce of weed will buy you a whole room full of tomatoes. :bigjoint:

Ditch the CFLS, they are horribly inefficient and that QB by itself in that small space will give you an amazing grow, unless you need the heat, save yourself some electricity$$
I feel like there are some spots on the plants that are not going to get light so that is why I keep the cfls around... I really feel like getting another one of these qb288s though... Im hooked like a junkie!!! A very happy family!!!1527554032313371272128.jpg 15275541079472071810291.jpg 1527554160049978916061.jpg

You can line the tent with Mylar / panda film for more light saturation and bounce .
I have done this to all my tents and the plants respond well go it. I measured and cut sheet to fit sides and used double sided tape .... Simple .

VIVOSUN is available at Amazon ... Got a big ass roll for $29

QB have great penetration. I wouldn't worry about the CFL's. I have a 4x2 with a 260 kit and the buds at the bottom of the plant are smaller, but they are extremely dense for being at the bottom. No larfy buds whatsoever.
Im about to convert an old cabinet that's 4x2 and get 2 more qbs... I'll keep the cfls off...

I wish these pics wouldn't upload sideways.

There are a couple teeny buds on the stems, I wouldn't qualify those as anything other than hash material, but once they get to about the average size as the rest of em they feel so ridiculously sticky.
