Here is my 3k spectrum quantum room at 42 days. I have them packed pretty tight on a F&D table. I use them for veg and flower.

Was just curious if 304s were staying for the long term as I noticed the 324s are basically in a “ KIT “Would be nice but I don't see the value in upgrading, the gain is not significant enough to justify the cost

I think the 304s are just as nice of a board as the more popular 288 , and there is still lots of driver options for a bump to The latest bin offer. The 304s are a steal for 65 bucks a board right now , and have been real happy with them.
Budget light? I thought the 324 cost more than the 304 and 288?I like the 304 myself. The 324? seem more geared to be a budget light. good specs, but not as good as the Samsung. Yes, I hope the 304 stays in the line up!
And I just received a pair of 324. Will hang them in the near future!

Just checked. It's $139 for one QB324 with one heatsink. Cheapest QB288 package is $99 for two boards/heatsinks, but only in 5000k; next cheapest is two 4000k boards with heatsinks, for $145. If you want 3000k, the cheapest I can find is a boards/heatsinks combo for $165. Still, the 324 is quite a bit more expensive.$139 a pair?
QB 288 with Slate2 heatsinks is $169
I hoping for 4lbs + in my 4x8 with 1.1kw alsoI agree about the spread. Mine aren't DIY but I have a 600h and 2 x260xl spread out doing about a 5x9 area right now. Definitely getting more than I would using 2x600h instead, similar wattage though.
I mean 4lbs+ from 1.1kw non-co2 is blowing my mind. I had twice the HID wattage with those results before.

Ahh... I see it now. How odd. HLG has some work to do on their site! The product page is confusing, i thought it was one board also, but that price is for 2.

Go look back some posts. I gave you a link to a how to video with a parts list in it. It is a 4x qb120 board fixture on a HLG-240H-2100A. It will give you a 265w fixture for around $235 USD.Still looking for build lists for diy quantum board setups
I'd really love to build a 3x3 setup for a friend
I just assembled a 260 watt kit in a 3 x 5 closet in my basement i know it will struggle some beyond the 3x3 footprint but im golden just waiting on some seeds to pop.Still looking for build lists for diy quantum board setups

But shit, at that price, I start to get ideas...
Hey everyone,
I was all excited to bring another QB304 board online tonight and it did not work!
I've ordered 3000K, 3500K and 4000K boards recently...all QB304's. The 3500K's were the most recent purchase and the boards did not look quite the same. I didnt think much of it until I connected a 3500K to a 4000K in series using the HLG-240H-C2100A driver.
Here are some pictures to show the differences in how the 3500K's look compared to the 3000K and 4000K boards:
3000K and 4000K boards all have this sticker to indicate the spectrum.

This is what the 3500K's look like

Any thoughts?
Edit and Follow-Up:
Running (1) 4000K on this driver is pulling ~114 watts at the stock setting. I have not messed with the dimming. I just put my killowatt on a single 3500K and its pulling like ~255 watts. WTF.
