okay guys now i know your all not going to admit it but you have just proved my point. now normally when i make a good point everyone pretends not to hear i just want some honesty. the main point i've heard in defence of everyone owning a gun (or having the right too) is that society is a safer place. intresting. when i asked if anyone had been shot or knew anyone who had it was for a reason. im 30 years old and spent 2 years in the military yet i've never seen or known of anyone being shot. or stabbed. or killed. yet in america where you guys claim guns make you feel "safe" you all now someone or have been shot/murdered/bum raped. now if guns are making society safe how come your all dropping like flys? now lets be honest. give people beer and they drink. give them cigs and they smoke. what do you get if you give people guns? if you feel safe with guns how come you all know people who have been shot. and i dont. just look and be honest.

Maybe its because everyone in Ireland is too drunk to shoot straight.

We are bound to get in some shit over here, we should ban beer in ireland to save lives, how do you like that idea.

Because there are always idiots who ruin it for everyone.

There are always going to be idiots that do stupid things.
Like it has been said, if the good guys don't have guns,

then only the bad guys will.

Everyone can't always be in the right place and the right time.
Things happen sometimes that we have no control over.

But I'm pretty sure some people wouldn't be butt-raped
if they had a gun.

Would you really try bum-fucking someone wearing a gun
on their hip?

Would you try shooting someone who is just as capable as hurting
you as you are them when you see that gun?

I wouldn't try it...but thats just me.

Gee, up until recently the people in your country were blowing each other up. The IRA, ya know.

"Hey patrick, less go bomb a church and then stop off at the pub for a pint o' Guiness." Ok, Sean sounds good!"

Damned Irish are as crazy as those muslim terrorists.

Uhmm, the reason I got shot was because I was dealing large quantities of drugs to very dangerous people for big chunks of cash. I was going into neiborhoods that would scare everybody in Ireland chitless. If I had stayed out of those kinds of places and not done those kinds of things with Gangbanging murderers i'd have been fine. Hell if i'd remembered to bring my gun that night I'd have been fine. society is pretty safe here if you stay out of the ghetto. It was MY fault i almost got killed not a lack of gun control.

There are about as many people in the city of Chicago as in all of Ireland.

There are MORE people in the New York City than in the entire country of Ireland. There are more people in Los Angeles than in the entire country of Ireland.

Those three cities COMBINED are not equal to even 10% of our total population.

I'll lay off the Irish alcoholic potato farmers and not make blanket statements about baby bombing IRA members...if you stop worrying about MY constitutional rights as an American.

You are a Englishman living in Ireland. You have no points about the constitutional rights of Americans. We had a war to determine that. You lost. France awarded us a giant feck off England statue to celebrate our victory.

Wait, you mean to tell me that guns are illegal in mexico, and there are 3 times as many murders per capita then the USA?

I think we may be on to something.

haha, isn't it just :P but alas, we don't have an alternative to labour, they're all a bunch of tossers and i'll not give any of em my vote!

at the end of the day, so long as i have my bag of smoke, i couldn't care who is in charge, who is doing what, jsut so long as i can keep to myself :) but you are correct in that it's kind of just bending over and accepting what you get, but hey, i'd rather a good rape than have any of the available options in charge :D (on a complete off-topic side note, yet another govt funded study has been carried out, which suggests that drug busts are actuially bad for neighbourhoods, due to getting new dealers in to replace the busted, and turf wars ensuing, and to focus on other areas of crime, similar to what i've read here about the US stopping pointless raids, i just wonder how quickly the govt will do the opposit of the advice they're given :D

oh, and i've said this as well, a car is not designed to fire a bullet to penetrate flesh. that's just an accident. shit happens in that respect. a gun is being pointed at someone for a VERY specific reason, whether to scare or hurt, it's all about intimidation. that comes up from every gun owner, and i dont' see how y'all can't see how stupid the statement is. a gun may be a "tool" as you all try and argue, but at the end of the day it has a very specific use, which does not come upder commuting, cooking, the likes, well maybe cooking, but cooking some guys ass with lead! :)
I don't argue your car vs gun argument at all. People who try to use that as an argument cant find a better one. that is why God made TANKS!

AS long as you are happy at the end of the day is what matters most. Just, for the love of God, at least keep one eye peeled.

damn skippy son. I even found a full auto micro uzi near a railroad, a week before some cartels caught word of a possible raid so they hid the guns all over town. I still have the gun at my grandma's house. I also purchased a full auto AK and a sawed off shotgun, $550 us currency.

right im done. as far as stats go i didnt manipulate those i did exactle what you did. i put in google gun death stats and that was the first one. in regards to someone mentioning the ira who do you think funded them? exactly. in regards to dead babies do you really want to start the "whos killed more babys argument?" now ive been very respectfull but it seems when i make a good point you dont think about it you just get angry. thats the differnce you see . i've never insulted anyone. i dont need to. if you cant talk like adults you shouldn't be on a website made for adults. and you shouldn't own guns. if when someone disagrees with you in a respectfull manner you cant control yourselfs what chance have you got with a loaded weapon in your hands. i am willing to cange my mind but it seems the only people who have made good points in this discusion on your side have gone. i think they were aware they were being let down by people who dont have the intellect to discuss things without getting personal. i can watch and change. can you?
