Dr Greenthumb .com The Dope Test grow

right on racer, I'm heading out the door and they are going to have to fend for themselves for about 24 hours. I only have 2 27 watt CFLs in the box for all those seedlings I have but it's better than killing them. So just 6-9 hours of weak light and than they will be placed under the 400 tomorrow and I will be here to close everything up again tomorrow night. The sprouts are already getting leggy and for the most part they have been reciving light from the 400 watter. Sick. I will transplant them up to the bottom leaves when I can so I don't think it will be that bad. Anyways, I'm working on getting a grow tent and if I can make it happen I will not have to worry about all this crap. Have a good weekend.
 
the good doc sent me some of his the dope i have a journal and will be updating every week same m8might do lst on a few :peace:
 
Well these plants are awesome already. They are growing fast and have a different look to them. The leaves are very jagged but have a more rounded tip than anything I've grown before. They really are beautiful sorry I don't have any pics right now but I will try to get some this weekend for everybody watchin.
 
Here's some pics. The Big Dope seed is a a few days younger than the other strains and the smaller ones are even younger still.

Thanks racer. One of the seeds just isn't really growing that well hopefully it will pick up the pace but oh well as long as I get some females from a couple I'll be okay. I cloned the big one last week so I should have some roots in a few days and determine the sex of it.

Edit:Hey guys turns out the Dope seeds are all female seeds :) Didn't know that.

Just checked out Greenthumbs site and the dope are feminized. He doesnt have a picture or discription yet but its on his order form.

I was wondering when they would be added to his stock. I went to his site yesterday to see cuz someone said they were feminized and I ended up emailing him and he confirmed it. Here I was hoping for females and cloning for sex lol.
 
lol.. that is pretty crazy pipe, glad to know that they are femed though.. i have grown several femed seeds in the past and have never had an issue with them.. glad to see you here to moodster, was just checking out your grow on pp..
they are looking pretty good so far though pipe..
 
yeah bro i see your doing your thing looking good...yeah there fem my 747's are fem also...doc is the fucking man...ready to throw one in flower now...
 
Just a little update. They are doing great. Here's the 4 seedlings and 1 clone:)

K it worked this time some shots of the seedlings and clones and a shot of some purps I smoked a few weeks ago.

I keep having set backs and it's frickin annoying. The pics were from yesterday, and this morning I go to check on them and the CFLs fell on them and burned up a bunch of leaves. Of course only the dopes got hurt because they were right underneath the lights and were the tallest. Looks like one might die and the big one might lose about 1/2 of it's vegetation. FML

It will be okay I caught it before it did too much damage and at least I still got a clone. Oh and I think my querkle is a male. :(

I have one purple pheno bubba kush and it hit the cfl burned all the fan leaves up then it dried out and wilted dead.

I watered it anyways cut off the dead fan leaves and it recovered. I couldn't believe it it was dead! Just thought I would tell you to at least try if it has roots it will recover:)
 
Well the way the cfls landed on them it basically just burned one cola on the larger plant. I used the UB top technique so it had 4 tops so now it has three. I just kept misting them hoping they would get better but didn't so I just cut off the whole branch it wasn't worth trying to save so it still has 3 tops it will be okay. The other one wasn't so lucky cause the light fell right on the stem and just scorched it. The top of the plant is still alive I thought maybe it would heal itself but doesn't look well so I just cut off the top and I am going to clone it. Hopefully the bottom of it will recover but if not I should have a cut of it. It could have been a whole lot worse and it was my mistake that caused it so I am not too bummed. I need to transplant them into bigger pots ASAP but I'm still trying to sex some of them so I will have room. Life would be a whole lot easier if flowering plants needed more light and growing plants needed less you know?
 
Yeah I know I didn't realize they were fems until a week ago or something. Finally I'll get some good female to male ratios:)

looking good pipe. i did the same thing to one of my dopes as well.. except i dropped my big ass two foot four bulb t5 unit right on one of my dopes and killed it.. so now i've got the two dopes and i also germed one of the drs og kush'es as well... they are all looking pretty good so far, except i haven't been able to give them all of the attention that they really need as i've been working 12 hour days five days a week, yuckky...
also, my two chocolate rains turned out to be males as well, which really didn't make me very happy, but what can you do? i just cut down my herijuana this week and it looks pretty dank, and i'm pretty excited to give her a test drive, lol..
all's looking pretty good though pipe, keep up the good work m8..
