Day 36:
I will definitely try something different next time I try DWC for my roots. I see some bad ass roots on here and mine look like shit. They will grow white and healthy for a couple days when I top feed them but if I don't top feed them then the new white ones seem to curl up and are just there. So I started top feeding again to see what happens. Very f*c*ing frustrating. I have read where someone has done their whole grow with the roots fully submerged and they grew just fine so I'm not sure whats up with mine. The plants look fine, but I know if the root system was as healthy as it should be then they would be better looking. I know my whole journal has been about these damn roots, but that's been my main problem. And for everyone else it seems very simple to get white healthy roots. Not I says the little mouse! I bought Voo Doo Juice because it is supposed to help root growth. Maybe I didn't use it right. IDK. But at $70 for a 1L bottle it better work. Next time I may try DM Zone. I have heard good things about that, but also heard good things about Voo Doo so who knows. I'm in limbo on my fan/filter as well. I have found a few cheaper DIY filters on here that I could see working and for a fraction of the cost as others. I was thinking one of the can type filters but found one using a car filter with carbon inside it that would go on the outside of the room and one that is simpler than that. Take a Scotch Guard cloth and sew 3 sides of it up and fill it with carbon and then either sew or velcro the top up after you put the carbon in and then simply take the pouch and fasten it in your air duct somehow. For around $5 dollars each I gotta try it. I would do two of them to be safe but I think that one would really work as long as my fan was strong enough to push the air thru it. But then my issue with that is my fan would only have duct on the exhaust side and not the intake side of it. If ya know what I'm saying. Then the fan would probably be louder. Those are my concerns as of now. A couple of em anyways.
On the bright side. The plants do look healthy and are growing. They are still alive! Yay! Extrema is really taking to the screen well. The two El Mons are starting to kick in and reach the screen. The inner growth is kicking into gear now.They better kick into overdrive because they have 9 days until they get flipped to 12/12. I really wanna go longer with veg but I just wanna get them started and finished and then I'll do my next grow in the winter months or after I move. But not gonna move til my babies are done. Luckily they are Indicas and have a 8-9 week flowering time. I noticed like 3 small burn spots on Extrema lower leaves, but it looks like it was from where I was top feeding and may have got some water on the leaves because they are small and I have not seen anymore of them. Oh well. Doesn't bother me as long as they look fine and healthy.

IDK . If not go get some I got regular perxiode first and I was trippin on how good my roots looked in like 2-3 days you will always need that and love it then if you like it buy the higher % stuff from the hydro store. Go get some NOW! If possible, good luck bro
