There are lots of space companies these days and NASA too, likewise for EVs, every company would scoop them up as they try to roll out new tech. Twitter employees have many options and need not fear unemployment even with social media layoffs, such people are in high demand and the labor market is super tight with people quitting jobs over conditions in droves. Bad timing Elon, and a new reality is dawning about how ya treat talented people with plenty of options.

He fucked up overpaying for twitter and was trying to sweat the difference out of his staff like he was running a factory making widgets using unskilled yokels with no union and high unemployment. Twitter just closed the office Elon wanted everybody to work 16 hours a day in. Nobody showed up and took Elon up on his ultimatum to have their noses pressed firmly to the grindstone, monitored by software and psycho overseers. While Elon destroys the platform with his idiotic tweets and blames them for his failures. Elon exposed himself as a POS, he wanted attention, well he got it and when the bright light was turn on a cockroach was found.

I was thinking some more, and not only did that $44 billion or whatever it was pay for all that data on us to analyze and figure out future ways to weaponize it against us, but if it keeps going the way it is, it will also decentralize people away from twitter's platform.

Which might make it more difficult for actual accurate information from accidentally being seen by people who move to sites that are less likely to protect/inform their users.

He might have issues there too, most people like myself (I don't tweet), log in using google or apple accounts and they might have issues with it as would the FTC and European regulators. Elon could end up with a European arrest warrant on his ass! Then there are the potential third party liability considerations with fake accounts, not to mention class action lawsuits by users and companies, oh yeah, bankers too.

I think its the same b.s. franchise laws that prevent Tesla from even having a dealership in many states or just a few where allowed.
New York banned direct sales but grandfathered five existing Tesla stores for example

Tesla has a fleet of mobile repair vehicles that do basic service onsite; I've seen them on the road a few times.
