This place WAS special because we could always question any sponsor/ advertiser on dubious claims. Not getting what you paid for was the other forums motto, now were fundamentally the same shit! Sad

Might as well pick up Mars hydro junk, who's to question its place in the modern grow room.

Also I have 0 to do with advertisers like literally 0 I see no money and have nothing to do with money transactions

He didn’t ask nicely though he was argumentative which is grounds for removal

And no one from amare complained it was all other users and the person in question himself complaining

he also has posted several other replies in that thread you just cherry picked the nicest ones for the sake of your argument

we can go at this back and forth all day long but really its not going to get you anywhere, as I was never the staff member involved in any of those decisions you are claiming I did

Im not lying about anything those werent his only posts, he had several others which continued a snowball of arguments

Our experience, and other manufacturers I've spoken with, is that high CRI results in lower efficiency. And for what it's worth, 2.7 µmol/J is quite difficult to achieve in the best of circumstances. The advertiser in question should have to produce credible data to support such claims.

Thank you for adding your information and experience Dan. That is my experience too on it, and most I have conversed with in the industry.
Just doesn't seem fair when most play by the general rules of truthful and honest documentation. Advertiser or not, but would think with other advertisers providing the documentation and honesty, that the ones that don't play truthfully should not be supported or glorified. Let alone given an unchallengeable platform to do so.

Dude. You already know. 301b's easily achieve 2.5. Olson squares easily hit 3. The other monos besides 660 (squares), such as 630, 470 & 730 are driven to achieve the 2.2-2.6 range. It all balances out to 2.7 @ 660w . Now, granted I've yet to find out if that board efficiency like all the other companies post or if its system efficiency which is what i believe should be the industy standard.

Why are they lies? Its not even on a website yet hows it gonna have posted data sheets? You are relentless? Wheres Gavitas led or Fluences data sheets? Theyre on their websites? NO! while Amare hasn't even finished the final product. Fortunately the pre-production model thats selling like crazy is still better then whats available anywhere from what im seeing.
Just look at the build & components & you know youre getting allot more for your money then say a PLC light with a shady rumor starting liar as the owner .

I agree that how you go about things matters, but it seems TEK was singled out.

I've seen way worse comments being un-moderated, or left alone, than what is being debated here and now.

The thread starter went at TEK, and was just as rude, but that's ok?

I've had interactions with you before, and they been good, I generally like reading your posts, but think its crazy they tried to ban TEK, for asking questions, you did go at him, and he reciprocated. I just wanted to let you know where I stood as I don't want it to seem I'm piling on but also think its a little over the top that he was banned.

That's prolly all I'm going to try to give this thought too. I don't agree with deleting comments but I value respectful interactions as well. In this instance it seems it wasn't too bad honestly, and went both ways but only one had consequences from it.

Yeah, that's foul cuz nobody even checked with me. I mean don't get me wrong, i appreciate the mods trying to keep it clean but also dont agree with censoring his comments or kicking him off my thread w/o asking me. That there used to go up my ass sideways when GG would have my comments deleted. They were generally good info posts related to my personal experience.
Also guys, there's 2 sides to every story. The way Teknik would be so obvious that he was trolling & hating is prob what got him. He would keep repeating the same BS after i clearly answered his questions. Almost like he didnt read my responses but i know he did. Yes its annoying but any Light Fixture that's the current "Whale" & at the very top of the food chain (or will be) is subject to scrutiny by the parasitic plankton.
