This is all so strange watching a global disaster unfold in slow motion with the internet. Things will get very ugly soon and it's only the tip of the iceberg.

According to the UN, the situation in Sri Lanka has grown so dire that around 80 per cent of the population are now forced to regularly miss meals.

He said inflation was tipped to rise to 60 per cent by the end of 2022.

Cuba is on the verge of collapse. They rely on oil to produce electricity and the power plants that were built in the 60's are obsolete and poorly maintained and on the verge of failure with rolling blackouts daily. Their largest oil storage facility was struck by lightning this weekend and is on fire. They are black listed by the IMF for failure to repay a previous loan and dependent on Russia and Venezuela for oil they barter for. They are out of foreign currency to pay for imports of food and other necessities. They're fucked and just waiting for the power grid to completely fail and the starvation to begin. This type of scenario is playing out in small countries around the world and this winter will see many in chaos and death.
