All he can do is recommend that the doj pursue the case. It's up to Garland ultimately, and i don't see him pursuing it too vigorously.

I don't see Garland pursuing it at all. I wonder how Wray kept his job after J6 and what did the FBI do on that day? He must have had something to show either Joe or Garland and could not have just sat on his hands on J6 or in the aftermath. Joe would have got rid of him if he was suspect in any way and Garland cleaned house when he took over the DOJ, except for a couple of prosecutors. Wray had to satisfy both Joe and Garland and he still has his job, the secret service director retired before he was fired and is not out of the legal woods yet IMO.

It won't make any difference to those who vote republican, if J6 didn't shake them loose from a party that betrayed the US constitution, this or any other fact won't, and I doubt putting Trump in prison will either, at least for a sizable number of them.

I don't think the FBI needs more motivation in dealing with Trump, or those who support him among them, who will be purged like they were commies in the 1950's, ditto for the US military they will be hunting down the fascists among them too. Political opinions are one thing, but these clowns are operating detached from reality and are a potential 5th column, at the least they have dangerous character defects and are unfit to serve or have a security clearance.

They will need to supply them with a phone app of all the places they are boycotting! As soon as the GPS shows they are going near the place a voice will pipe up that says, you can't shop here! They are boycotting so much that perhaps their only option will be to stay home and have things delivered from "safe" sources, for a premium of course! I dunno if painting themselves into a corner or digging their own graves is the best metaphor...

Something else for the republicans to rage over and hold up funding for the military, who will be moving out of red states anyway due to staffing and readiness issues caused by state anti-abortion and LGBTQ laws. The bases will remain but will end up mothballed with most of the civilian staff laid off, when they voted republican, they voted to fuck themselves too. Imagine their surprise and outrage when they realized their own character flaws caused them to lose their nice government jobs and to get "them" they ended up getting themselves unemployed. The military will increasingly move operations to blue states as simply a matter of readiness. If I were a general in the US military who ole Tommy fucked over for promotion, I would have Tuberville's state at the top of my list to vacate personnel from and lay off the civilians, except for the contractor who mowed the lawn and the private security guards at the front gate.

No US military base, ship or facility should be named after a traitor who killed American troops.
