first cab in the works

well this will be my first time building anything like this
it is 2ft 6'' 1/2 wide 15'' 1/2 deep and 37'' tall if i take out the floor

but would this be good enough to have a couple or just one plant with 300watts of cfl's

i have plywood i am gonna use for the door and white paint,3 fans from a pc
what are your thoughts any advice would be helpfull thanks

Could probably fit three. I have 7 going in hydro set up in 36 x 18 x 72

Looks like a start. I'd say 2 plants would do well in there, or maybe something like a party cup SoG. There are so many ways to go about it, just depends on what you're looking for. You can turn anything into a growing cab, and since I started growing indoors I see life through emerald colored glasses, so to speak. Everywhere I look, I see potential cabs in everyday items, and find myself constantly trying to figure out how to repurpose and recycle junk into components for my grow. 300w actual, and you might need more than PC fans, or maybe not. I guess it depends on the amount of air they move once all hooked up. Just make sure you have a flexible lighting setup, so you can reposition light for best coverage on your plants, seeing as CFL's power diminishes greatly with distance. But yeah, get cracking and soon you'll have a cab that I'm sure you'll be proud of. How productive it is, well that will be up to trial and error mostly, seeing as no two grows are exactly alike.

about how tall do you start to flower

yeah i dont want nothing to big since it's only gonna be for personal use but like you say its all in trial and error learn as you go kind of things thanks for your input metasynth i know im gonna lst but befor i get into all of that i have to get this up and running lol and i understand what you mean when you see all kinds of things you could use i was gonna use a pc and then i got this dresser for free so why not grow in something a lil bigger

Gotta work backward from space available. Lights from top to plants is top limit. Pots or rez from floor is second. Plants stretch 2 to 3 times in flower ( 12/12). I have about 42" from top of my rez to the min clearance from my leds. ( I have a clone chamber above in cab), So I grow to 16-18" before flipping from 20/4 to 12/12. Look up Uncle bens topping technique and LST to increase your bud potential.
